The Board of Lochalsh & Skye Housing Association is delighted to confirm the appointment of Fanchea Kelly as the Association's Chief Executive to cover Maternity Leave of Lowri Richards.
Fanchea started in post on 18 November 2024 and has been working with Lowri on induction and handover issues.

Sorry to report an issue with our biomass district heating system in Portree, an engineer is on site and the oil boiler back-up is on. We expect normal heat/hot water to resume in 2-3 hours. Apologies for any inconvenience caused. An engineer will visit tomorrow to diagnose and fix the issue.

The Ross-shire Women’s Aid service is unfortunately at risk of losing critical funding. We know how much the service is needed in our local communities and the amazing support they give to victims and survivors of domestic abuse. If you have been affected by abuse, and have used their services, we would really encourage you to complete this short anonymous survey. LSHA is pleased to share with you some progress photographs and images of the Glenelg development which is progressing very well indeed.

Within this development there are 2 x 5 Person with 3 bedroomed homes and 2 x 4 Person 2 bedroomed homes.

Residents of Lochalsh! Have your say on the Wester Ross, Strathpeffer and Lochalsh Area Place Plan in Dornie or on the Engage Highland link below. The plan sets out the vision, ambition and priorities for people and place in your area. This is open for feedback until 29 November.

In 2021, Highland Council made a commitment to develop Area Place Plans (APPs) mainly based on Area Committee boundaries. Area Place Plans set out the vision, ambition and priorities for people and place in that particular area. This will support targeting resources,
