Part, Full and Schooling livery available at Kingfisher Ridge Livery.

Kingfisher Ridge Livery has been recently upgraded and has now re-opened as a professional livery yard offering 8 12 x 12 stables. All stables are spacious & light, with rubber matting & automatic water drinkers.
Facilities include 60 x 20 silica sand/fibre school, (mirrors are due to be installed in the next month) lunge pen, all weather turnout out pens, grass paddocks for individual or pairs turnout. Tailored/specialised care is available from our professional staff.

Solarium bay (small extra charge), prep bay & hot water wash bay are all available.
Large secure tack room and separate heated rug rooms.
Tea room with seating, fridge freezer, microwave, and view over the arena.

Hacking around whitely woods and Knowle is available.
Limited Trailer & box parking at extra cost.

We welcome Stallions/Colts, Geldings, Mares, and unbacked youngsters. The staff have extensive experience handling and in-hand training of stallions and c**ts as well as organising coverings.

Both Standard Part and Standard Full livery include full starter bed and then two bales of shavings a week, 2 hard feeds per day, adlib hay or haylage, mucking out, rug changes, turnout, use of all facilities (see note for solarium above), holding for farrier, dentist and vet (non emergency). Standard Part livery does not include weekend mucking out or poo picking.

Additional services available (chargeable) include lunging, ridden exercising, in-hand schooling, rehabilitation, clipping, tack cleaning, box rest, specialist diets, coverings, transport in our lorry, etc.

National Dressage Champion Jezz Palmer is available at the yard daily to offer riding lessons. (Subject to availability)
Kingfishers Livery is located on Fontley Road Titchfield. Owner lives on site.

Prices start from £525 for standard part livery, and £650 for standard full. Tailor made and multiple horse packages are available.

We provide top class care to horses at high level competition right through to broodmares & foals.
You’ll be working on a newly renovated yard with lovely facilities.
The job is to include but not limited to;
- All usual yard duties (mucking out/feeding/turning out etc).
- Opportunity to prep high level dressage horses for professional rider.
- The potential for some riding depending on experience and ability.
This role will be open from the 1st of October but there could be the potential to start earlier.

Evelyn is a 16.3h KWPN 13 year old mare. She is dressage bred by quality lines (Wonderboy x Metall x Johnson) and is registered with the AES studbook.

Evelyn has 3 lovely paces, a real highlight being her huge uphill canter. Under saddle she was forward thinking & works into a soft contact. She regularly hacked proving to be safe & bold on the busiest of roads as long as she has a companion. Evelyn, whilst entirely manageable for an experienced rider is however quirky and absolutely not a novice ride. Eve was put into foal because we felt she wasn’t completely happy in training & given the quality of her foal & how excellent she’s been as a mum we definitely made the right decision for her.

On the ground you can’t fault Evelyn, she is polite and well mannered, good to clip & shoe etc (although currently barefoot). Her only vice is that she doesn’t do well on her own at all, she strongly believes the more friends the better so a group or pair set up suits her perfectly. She will travel & load perfectly as long as she’s not alone. She can turn out with mares & geldings.

Evelyn is fit & healthy and has never had any health complaints in the 5 years we have owned her. She is up to date with her vaccinations, teeth & feet.

She currently has a beautiful filly at foot by our own regional & national winning stallion King IV and has scanned back in foal (due May 2023) to King.

We are offering her for sale either available now with foal at foot or after weening at the end of September. Videos of both her & her foal are available upon request.

Ruby is a 16.3h British warmblood 8 year old mare. She has Grand Prix dressage stallions throughout her dam & sire lines (Royal Rubin x Dimaggio).

There is the option for Ruby to restart her ridden career after her 2023 foal. Ruby was professionally backed as a 5 year old proving to be very easy and sensible. She has 3 lovely & correct paces, with a particularly good walk & canter. Under saddle she is forward thinking & gives a lovely feeling, however, prior to becoming a broodmare, she was still green within her work. She was hacked out in company regularly on main roads & was always perfectly behaved.

On the ground Ruby is very easy to handle. She loves any attention and will stand for hours to be fussed over. We have owned her since a 2 year old and she’s always been a very sound, fit & healthy horse. Ruby loads & travels well & is good to shoe etc, (although currently barefoot). She is up to date with vaccinations, teeth & feet.

The decision to breed from Ruby came through having our own regional & national winning stallion King IV standing at stud for his first year and us wanting to have some of his first foals on the ground. Ruby really didn’t disappoint in giving us a lovely c**t whom she’s really stamped with her strong, athletic build & correct conformation. She’s been put back into foal to King (due May 2023).

Nellie is a serious prospect for either a professional or amateur dressage rider.

Nellie is a top quality dressage bred filly by our own regional & national winning stallion King IV (Governor x Totilas) and out of our broodmare Evelyn (Metall x Johnson). Nellie has a very active, correct hind leg and a super overall impression with great presence. She’s incredibly bold & self confident around humans & particularly loves following our dogs around. You really couldn’t wish for a better natured foal.

Her sire, our own King IV has won countless regional & national titles. He’s now training PSG & will hopefully campaign at small tour next year. King shows huge natural skill & trainability for the higher levels, his highlights range across all paces from his extended trot through to his canter pirouettes. Only some of his achievements include a finalist in the national 4yr old young horse class and being selected to represent Great Britain at the World Breeding Championships. Despite all of this, King’s biggest asset is his temperament. Even after all the high profile shows to hacks at home in gale force wind & rain accompanied by mares we are yet to find anything that phases him, he just oozes self confidence. King’s own breeding is nothing other than top quality; he’s by Governor (Totilas) making him one of the few Totilas progenies available at stud in the UK.

Nellie’s dam Evelyn is very talented herself, with 3 very correct paces but her huge uphill canter is definitely a highlight. She is of course well bred, her sire Metall is also sire to Utopia, Carl Hester’s 2012 Olympic team gold medal winning horse. Metall also has several liscenced sons proving he really passes his skill onto his offspring. Metall’s own sire Ferro, was apart of the Olympic silver medal winning Dutch team.

Kosta is a top quality dressage bred c**t by our own regional & national winning stallion King IV (Governor x Totilas) and out of our broodmare Royal Ruby (Royal Rubin x Dimaggio ). Kosta has an immediate presence with his longs legs, high set neck & strong, active hind leg. His overall impression is eye catching. Kosta is very bold & certainly not lacking in confidence!

Kosta’s dam, Ruby is incredibly well bred with prolific stallions throughout her breeding. Notably the world renowned Dimaggio. Classed as one of the most successful horses within modern dressage it’s easy to see why, with a record that includes winning the prestigious World Breeding Championships with an overall score of 9.5. Dimaggio has played a huge part in shaping the modern dressage horses of today, regularly sitting within the top 10 sire rankings. He’s produced countless high performance dressage horses and countless liscensed sons.
