Peggy and I enjoyed a lazy Saturday on the sofa together, watching the albino squirrel potter about in the garden for a while.
We headed out for a slow street sniffari which was very pleasant and peaceful until we came face to face with a very confident fox that did not know seem at all bothered by Peggy's loud shouting and general 'I'm going to definitely get you' vibes! πŸ™ˆ

Mrs Fox was unharmed and Peggy had a good shake off and we headed home back to cuddling up on the sofa again. 🐾❀️

This afternoon me and the young Ratbags went on a little outing; the girls will be making their TV debut and were filmed for a project by Woodcut Media .

It was a real pleasure meeting the team and good fun getting the shots needed. The Ratbags will be invoicing for five large dried banana chips, and will be signing pawtographs for their fans, now that they are vey vey famous, dahling! πŸ€πŸŒ

Spaniel Squad feat. Vladimir Pupin enjoyed their roaming around Milton Common this morning. Buffer and Buddy were completely feral and were everywhere all at once, crashing about in the dry grass, whooshing past Blaire and Vlad and I, quickly checking I wasn't giving out treats.
Vlad and Blaire were far more sedate and I'm sure rolled their eyes a couple of times at the antics of the other two πŸ˜†
Vlad and Buffy had a moment of walking side by side like an old married couple out for a stroll, before Buffy decided she needed to turn off for more demolition of undergrowth(!)

Tilly, Vlad, Ralph, Nancy and Buffer had a good ol' romp around the woods today. We hardly saw a soul which made for a very relaxing time to ourselves, enjoying each other's company. The gang did all the dog things, and were quite ready for a nap on the canon the way home!

My photography skills completely deserted me when it came to Miss Kit's visit today!

First things first and we headed straight out into the garden where Kit was rewarded for doing her toilet. After that it was time for garden zooms followed by parading with various toys. Kit seemed content to be on her bed with her toys rather than interact much with me so I ate my lunch and put the telly on for us. We discussed the news and generally put the world to rights, had a quick game with the fleece plait toy (the tail) and Kit once again settled down with a chew.

She was definitely less worried about me today, and took great interest in my crocs and socks (and not just in the fashion faux pas sense) in between parading her toys and coming to show me which one she was currently tormenting.

Ponyo, Vlad and Blaire were just the sweetest today. Ponyo did some super cute head tilting in response to my puppy voice, Vlad led the way and we briefly joined a man and his dog on their walk before turning off along one of the smaller tracks. We did a nice long treat-crumb hunt and all their noses were busy for quite some time on the way back to the van🐾

We were all in a somewhat silly mood today:

🐾 Vlad was full of Monday morning beans and trotted happily around, occasionally breaking into zoomies and running at me in play.
🐾 Nancy kept chucking herself down face first, mid run, in the long grass.
🐾 Albie was delighted with life and kept breaking into short runs in response to Vlad's zoomies.
🐾 I contemplated how, if dogs and owners start to alike after a while, perhaps it could also be true of dogs and walkers...?! πŸ€”

What a beautiful day to spend wandering with pals in the sunshine β˜€οΈ
Spaniel Squad and I shared mutual delight in all the signs that spring is just around the corner - although I left the rolling in those.. signs.. to the dogs(!)

A lovely, chilled out walk today with Zeke and Bluebell.
They both headed off together Spanielling and Labradoodling (?) in the bushes, flew about together over the big clumps of grass and finished their walk splashing and paddling about in the large puddle. ❀️🐾

Another very sunny explore at Stansted today with Bertie, Monty, Daphne and Albs.
We took a different route today and found a lovely grassy area full of sunshine and lots of things to sniff and investigate together! ❀️🐾

(Wednesday)
It was a chilled out kind of walk with Jarvis, Zeke and Arthur yesterday afternoon.
The sun was still shining and the boys followed their noses in and out of the bushes and along the narrow paths at salterns.
There were brief moments of stick dancing and squirrel chasing but mostly slow paced sniffing for these boys today! 😊🐾

(Wednesday)
It was a sunny Stansted trip for Dixie, Monty, Albie and Bluebell.
They all found plenty to investigate amongst the leaves and did so well splashing and jumping in the puddles, making sure they covered themselves in mud! ❀️🐾

You look tired, Vlad... Is that because you embarked (see what I did there) on a big adventure while we were asleep and ended up stuck inside the duvet cover?! πŸ˜‚

I woke up to Paul saying, 'How did you get *there*?!', and could see the top corner of the duvet was writhing. Cue Paul following Vlad into the duvet cover (this was about half past one in the morning🀣) to retrieve him, with much giggling from us both!! Vlad wasn't that keen to come out, but would have liked a hole in the corner of the duvet cover for his head to pop out of... hahaha πŸ˜‚

Nancy, Vlad, Tilly, Ralph and Buddy explored the woods in what was very spring-like weather today. We all enjoyed ourselves, and the sausages in particular were very happy that it wasn't as muddy as it has been recently - they were able to navigate along mostly dry tracks and avoided a lot of the usual splashback associated with lowriders in the woods! 😁

After observing Buddy running back and forth past us several times, Nancy intercepted a fly-past which led to a game of chase and then further intercepts at random times during the rest of the walk. This seemed to be an interesting project for Nancy and I shall be interested to see if she develops her technique further in the coming weeks πŸ˜…

Ralph ambled along at his own pace, stopping to thoroughly sniff something and then racing to catch us up. He,l and Vlad were particularly excited to see Alice and Etta as we passed each other on our way in/out of the woods.

Zeke, Arthur and Jarvis aka the three mischievous boys had a wonderful time at Wicor Rec today.
There was so much space for them to flaunt themselves about in! Arthur found many sticks to prance around with in his mouth.
Zeke watched the seabirds in the water before heading down to the shoreline and dragging out a bit of seaweed to munch on!
Jarvis also found a stick that replaced his ball temporarily to perform his happy dance! πŸ₯°πŸΎ

What a lovely, chilled out walk I had this morning with Peggy, Albie and Daphne.
They were all eager to get going and led the way down various paths until they all found the large puddle to splash about in.
Daphne and Peggy both like to lie down in puddles which they both did one at a time, looking hugely pleased with themselves. Albs instead took a bowling ball approach and hurtled across the puddle at full speed which caused Peggy to go into zooming mode around the field!
Once that was out of their system they all settled down into a nice, slow sniffari. πŸ₯°πŸΎ

Our Story

Nine years as a professional dog walker, cat sitter, and pet sitter in Portsmouth means I have built up a solid base of experience providing these services. In addition to my professional experience with pets I am blessed to have two dogs of my own from rescue, both of whom are a bit socially-challenged(!) and who have both been a huge learning curve! The skills I practise daily with my own dogs have been easily applied throughout my professional life and have been a huge asset. In the past I have enjoyed keeping many characterful pets; guinea-pigs, rabbits, gerbils, mice, rats and fish and welcome these animals into my home to board. I can also visit these pets as frequently as you choose while you are away. Conspicuous by its absence from that list is a cat; I have never been owned by a cat and am unlikely to be in the future due to my very allergic husband!! It is only through my visiting service that I get to enjoy their company and quirks, so for a possibly quite over-indulgent cat visiting service, please do get in touch!
