Can’t do one with out the other 🙈
When the weather cuts your walk short we will make use of the time to do a bit of muzzle training. No a hairbrush hasn’t touched my hair today that’s the beauty of hats 😂
Vanity doesn’t come into the world of dogs.
Pudsey is on lead walks atm as she eats everything she finds putting her life at risk.
So we are in no rush to make her wear it. In her own time and hopefully she can get back out in the field ❤️
DONT OVERLOOK A RESCUE DOG FOR BEING REACTIVE SEE IT AS A CHALLENGE WITH HUGE REWARDS!!!
A few months back I was contacted by the owners of a rescued Staffie. A lovely boy who unfortunately as a pup had been seriously ill and missed out on socialisation in the vital stages of his life.
Dyno had been given a lovely home by Tom and Jo and their family and although dyno was super friendly with people and kids he really struggled in the presence of other dogs. He struggled to even walk past a dog in the street without reacting.
Due to take a holiday in 6 months with family who owned a black lab Jo and Tom were desperate to turn dyno around but had been using avoidance tactics to walk dyno.
I took dyno on and worked with him introduced him to other dogs took him on group walks and encouraged his owners to come along. After a couple of months I felt my work was done, I kept in touch to check on Dyno’s progress and to offer help and advice if needed.
Yesterday I received this video from Tom and Jo enjoying their family break with the 2 dogs who had never met previously.
Massive well done to Tom and Jo for sticking with it and taking on board all the advice I gave them.
Dyno you are a beautiful boy you have been a pleasure to work with I’m so proud of you ❤️
My little foster boy Bullet with pudsy. He’s been with me less than 2 weeks he’s only a pup and is learning it’s not all about him 😁
My beautiful boy and Pudsy ❤️
Am so proud of this boy Dyno. In just a few short weeks he is interacting without reacting to other dogs. Massive thanks to Jade Barber ( JVB Pet Services ) for letting us walk with you and yr guys and taking videos. Am still working with this boy and he is making such good progress
Dyno the reactive staffie through no fault of his own meets Puds. He was so good first walk together and first walk where he hasn’t reacted to a dog. Well done Dyno keep it up you gorgeous boy we will get you there x
