✨ Meet Sora, our fabulous black cockapoo who’s a grooming regular! 🐾🖤 Every 5-6 weeks, he comes in for his grooming session, and we love watching his transformation from start to finish!

With his soft, curly coat and sparkling personality, Sora is always a joy to work with. Whether it's a trim, a bath, or a full grooming session, he's always on his best behaviour — making it the perfect way to keep him looking and feeling his absolute best! ✂️💖

Grooming isn’t just about looking great. It’s also about feeling great! Regular visits help keep his coat healthy and shiny and his skin free from tangles and mats. Plus, it’s always a great excuse for some extra cuddles! 🐾🛁

🐾 New Grooming Policy for a Happier, Healthier Coat 🐾

At Dandini’s, the comfort and well-being of every dog is our top priority. Recently, we’ve observed some dogs with severely matted coats, often due to long gaps between grooming appointments or insufficient brushing. When dead hair isn't removed, it can tangle with live hair, causing mats to form.

In accordance with the Animal Welfare Act, we are unable to de-mat for longer than 15 minutes, as prolonged attempts to brush through matting can cause significant discomfort and distress to the dogs. The safest and most humane way to handle mats is to shave under them, which may result in a shorter coat than expected.

We want every grooming experience to be as pleasant as possible, and regular grooming helps keep coats healthy and free from tangles. Clients who maintain a consistent grooming schedule for their pet’s breed and coat type enjoy smoother, stress-free visits.

To ensure the best care for your dog, we’re now adopting a new policy: We will only accept new clients who are committed to following a recommended grooming schedule tailored to their pet's needs.

Meet Lily, the sweetest 6-year-old domestic long-haired! 💕 She came in this week for a grooming session and was an absolute champ throughout. From ear and eye cleaning to nail clipping, mat removal, and a deshed, Lily handled it all like a pro! 🐾✨ We couldn’t be more proud of this good girl for being so patient and well-behaved. She’s all fresh, fluffy, and ready to shine! 🌟
