🎄⛄This Christmas we invite you to join us for a Christmas charity event in aid of Rowans Hospice. Proceeds from the name the dog will be donated to a dog charity which will be drawn on the day from everyone’s vote out of a hat (or bowl or similar). ⛄🎄

🤶🎅Date of our Santa Paws Charity event 14th of December 2024. One hour time slots from 9 am to 1 pm.🤶🎅

To book your ticket please email [email protected] by the 5th of November , you will then receive an email detailing how to book your dogs ticket for their one hour time slot. The payment methods will also be included in this email.

⛄What do we have to make your dog's Christmas a special one to remember?⛄

⛄ In aid of Rowans Hospice⛄

🤶🎅 A photo with Santa Paws and a Santa gift bag big enough to fill with all the goodies on sale in the hall, we have added to the bag a few fun items to get you started.

🤶🎅Entry is £15.00 for 1 dog, add an additional dog for £5.00 extra. A digital photo will be sent directly to your email or WhatsApp. When booking your place please send your preferred method with details. 🤶🎅

🐶How many lost items can your dog find in a minute. Find them all and your dog will win a Xmas treat🐶.

Xmas Rally Obedience

Have a go at Rally Obedience, work your way through a course of different exercises, make it to the end and earn your dog a treat.

Doggy Xmas Barkery

There will be A doggy Bakery with Christmas goodies for your dog's stocking. Individually priced with all profit going to charity.

Samm's Wild pup shop

Toys and natural chews and collars, tags and leads to order or buy on the day.

Lots of tombola prizes to be won. Tickets £2.00 per try or 3 tickets for £5.00.

Tea, coffee, soft drinks, and festive food will be available for the price of a small donation.

🐶Name the Dog & pop the name of your favourite dog charity in a hat🐶
Find the name of this gorgeous dog (see photo) and bring him home for Christmas.
£1.00 per go.

Everyone who takes part in 'name the dog' please write your nominated dog charity on a piece of paper fold it up and put it in the hat. We will then video the winning dog charity being pulled out of the hat. Please note the charity must be registered.
🎄Important Refunds & Please Notes🎄

Refunds: If you are unable to attend we will refund your £15.00 as long as you notify us before the 6th of December.

This event may not be suitable for dogs that are nervous or feel uncomfortable in busy enclosed areas. There will be approximately 10 to 15 dogs in the sports hall at any one time.

We will not use your photos unless you give written permission to do so.

🥳🤩🥰We are going to miss you all in our Saturday puppy class. You have all been amazing and we wish you all well for the future. It has been great seeing all your puppies & young dogs grow in confidence during the course and learn some very important life skills to keep them safe during their lifetime. Remember to keep the training up and above all else have the best fun with them whilst doing so. Take care and we look forward to seeing those of you returning to continue in the Bronze class. 🥳🤩🥰

🥳🤩🤩🥳 A very big Congratulations to Mery and Kloy for passing Gold. It has been quite a journey for Mery & Kloy having to have a break due to problems with her health. We had to amend her sit stay as she finds it very uncomfortable to stay in this position for long, so sending Mery outside the hall we substituted difficulty for duration. I love their Gold graduation photo such a lovely family for Kloy to celebrate her well-deserved achievement with. P.s No treat pouch is ever safe with Kloy around, so if you ever meet her and have an academy treat pouch on you, run, she knows what's in there🤣!! 🥳🤩🤩🥳

They work so well together and Luna is just an amazing dog, learning each task so quickly it's no surprise they completed Bronze in one course which is a great achievement. 🥳🏆🐾🤩Congratulations to our AMCBT Portchester (Fridays) branch UK Sniffer Dog Bronze class for passing their Bronze Trial this month. All of you were brilliant and those noses were on top form. Looking forward to seeing you take up the Silver challenge where we bring in new scents and a different kind of search, the active, send-out your dog out to sniff out the scent squirrel and bring it back to hand!! 🥳🏆🐾🤩

🥳🤩🥳Congratulations to Hunter, Jaskier, and Nelson for passing Bronze. I don't usually put 3 dogs together when they pass a level however they have all had to work very hard to pass Bronze and are now all working towards Silver. Having 3 gorgeous teenage males in the class, with hormones transitioning from puppy to adult has meant that their owners have had to work very hard at keeping their dogs focus. All your dogs are truly amazing, intelligent, and above all the biggest softies you could hope to meet. Keep up the good work and we can't wait for you all to pass Silver🥳🤩🥳

Start of a new course and an early one for the 8.45 am Rally class. Today we went back to basics level 1. Sit down sit, is a really important exercise, 1 cue (can be visual and verbal but must be carried out at the same time). Although basic the dog and handler must be aware of everything thing they do. Not as easy as you think. We are visiting a higher level next week and perfecting this will help with the class lesson. Keep practicing your pivot, remember left and right, but progress this very slowly for a solid foundation.

🥳🤩Congratulations to Mery and Kloy (the treat bag raider) for passing Silver. It's so much fun with these 2. They were stuck on retrieve but Kloy nailed it and passed Silver on Saturday 13th July. Kloy did manage to behead her favourite Foxy toy along the way but apparently, Mery has a stock of them, so we have some for the 2 Gold retrieves. Well done and good luck in Gold. 🥳🤩

🥳🤩Congratulations to Ellie and Nala for passing Bronze. Ellie and Nala have both worked very hard to pass their Bronze level and are now working hard to achieve their Silver level rosette. Nala is such a lovely girl, both Nala and handler Ellie are a pleasure to see each week in their class at 11.45 am. Well done!!🥳🤩

Congratulations to gorgeous Rosie for passing silver last week 🥈🎉🎉. Rosie and her owner Sheila have been an absolute joy since they attended their very first puppy class. The loving bond that these two share is unmistakable and this has made some things easy for them but also brought them challenges that Shelia has continually faced and tried her best to overcome and has finally achieved Silver! Massive congratulations to you both 🎉🎉

Last week of this course and we are so proud of you all. Working in close proximity to each other and all your dogs are focusing on the task at hand. This is such a great exercise for any dog, working together as a team to find the hidden treats. Who said training your dog is no fun!!
