I'm and experienced and lightweight rider with experience riding all types of horses and ponies across all disciplines, having worked with everything from just backed 3yo's to cobs to racehorses right up to top class showjumpers. I have years of experience backing, breaking and producing youngsters both for myself and for clients. I am extremely confident in both handling and riding green and inex

perienced horses with a good understanding of what individual horses need to bring the best out of them and to help them grow in confidence. I have a strong seat and a calm and empathetic approach to working with tricky horses, i'm not phased by bucks, spins or rears and will always work with the owners and riders to ensure a smooth transition for them getting back on board. I have previously worked as a rider on professional yards both in the UK and abroad, including a professional show jumping stud and as a work-rider for racehorses in training on race yards both locally and most recently in France. Happy to work with all types of horses and ponies – including quirky and ‘problem’ horses. I'm also happy to take on horses coming back into work after long breaks or those who need rehab work - as long as all behavioural and physical issues are disclosed. I have my own transport and I am happy to travel (within reason). Prices start from £25 per hour (plus fuel depending on location). I am a freelance rider and horse trainer currently based in Singleton near Poulton Le Fylde, with many years of experience riding all types of horses and ponies across all disciplines, having worked with everything from just backed 3yo's, cobs, gaited breeds and racehorses right up to top class showjumpers.

I have years of experience backing, breaking and producing youngsters both for myself and for clients. I am extremely confident in both handling and riding green and inexperienced horses and those who require retraining, having a good understanding of what individual horses need to bring the best out of them and to help them grow in confidence.

I have a strong seat and have a calm and empathetic approach to working with tricky and 'problem' horses. I'm not phased by bucks, spins, broncs or rears and will always work with the owners and riders to ensure a smooth transition when they're ready to get back on board.

I have previously worked as a rider on professional yards both in the UK and abroad, including a professional show jumping stud and racing yards, including my most recent role as a work-rider training race horses in France.
