Everyone who knows us, knows that we always have a good cause to support around Christmas time 😍🎄

We're supporting Home Round Hounds Warrington this year! We have raffle tickets for sale £1 each either at the shop or you can message to buy. There's a huge amount of prizes beyond the top 3 and money is going to a great cause 🐶

We've seen first hand the care and the hard work the Volunteers do with their free time and energy and each Greyhound is treated with lots of love and care. From mucking out in the early mornings, dedicated walks every morning and afternoon, food made with love, medications & vet visits, to playtime in the paddock and cuddles in their kennels, these lost and lonely Greyhounds are held gently after their time on the tracks until they can find their loving homes 🥰

The raffle will be drawn on 7th December 2025 at the Christmas Fair in Burtonwood Community Centre 11am-3pm 🌟 If you can't make it on the day, we will be writing our details on the back of each ticket so that you can be contacted through us, so don't worry you won't be missing out!

If you can spare £1 please buy a ticket 🎟

If you'd like to make any donations, just bring them in with your pooch and we'll take them over to the kennels when one of us is next volunteering 😁🧡

More than 1.5 million petition signatures in the UK have called for changes to fireworks regulations! Fingers crossed everybody and let's hope it pours down the next couple of nights 🤞 Don't forget to make your last walk of the day with your pooches pretty early to avoid the bangs 🧡🐾

I hope all of our furry friends are coping as well as they can with these fireworks 🥲 Thunder vests, multiple noise makers (TV, radio, speakers etc), a warm den with blankets & pillows, happy hoodies, peanut butter on a spoon - try anything and everything!

We had a welfare groom in today, a big mess of hardened matts accumulated over months and perhaps even a year 😔

Underneath this pelt lived a little girl called Bella 🥺 She's only young, 1.5 years old, and she's been neglected. Her new Supermum just rescued her today from her poor living conditions and brought her straight in for an emergency groom ⭐️✨️

In such terrible condition, Bella was with us for 6 hours, including breaks & plenty of treats. Once her pelt was removed, she was allowed to feel her freedom. She ran around, had her zoomies and enjoyed lots and lots of healing cuddles ❤️ We'll grow her coat back over the next few months and treat her gently to build her confidence in the shop.

Your new life is waiting to be lived beautiful girl - enjoy every single minute of the love coming your way 💫

I don't ever want to hear anyone complaining when dog groomers take a dog short because of matting - we do this for your dog's comfort and ONLY your dog's comfort. Where matting is involved, we will always protect your dog. Vanity is the last thing on our mind in these situations. Hair grows back 👍
