Say Hello to our designer Nat & her gorgeous dog, Betty

Hello, I’m Nat! I work closely with Fi to help design the fabulous dog harnesses and accessories for Miller and Rose.

I’ve worked as a designer for almost 20 years and love nothing more than seeing the designs come to life when applied to products. As a dog owner myself, I’ve loved the process of seeing the designs translated onto accessories for our furry friends.

We can’t wait to share what’s coming soon as we are always working on new ideas! X

It's me, Hi....

Hopefully I'm not the problem 😂

This is totally out of my comfort zone, but I thought I would do a very quick post to properly introduce myself!

My name is Fiona (Fi) and I am the owner of Miller & Rose! I live in Preston, Lancashire, with my husband and 4 children, and of course, Sid and Hattie ( + some cats and chickens!).

I started Miller & Rose as a way of getting back into the dog world, while still being at home for my family. I studied animal behaviour and welfare at university and worked for 8 years at Guide Dogs, firstly as part of the dog care and welfare team, and then as part of the puppy raising team. I named the business after Rosa, our chocolate Labrador who I rehomed from work, she sadly passed away in 2022, and Miller, who was my favourite of all the dogs I ever worked with!

I love cups of tea (has to be Yorkshire!), Cadbury chocolate (straight from the fridge!) Trashy TV, sunny days, glasses of fizz with friends and days out with my family ❤️🐶🐕

I love getting to know you all through these squares and especially love having a dog filled Instagram feed and feel so grateful for all your support. I hope you feel like you know me a little better now 😊

Gorgeous in Green

Green is one of my favourite colours. It's so versatile and looks so good with all cost colours! Twinkle Twinkle is one of 2 green designs (have you seen Olive Leopard?!) and has a beautiful black trim and white star pattern.

Have you taken a closer look at the Classic adjustable harness yet? I posted a description of the Oxford Luxe harness a couple of weeks ago, so here is a little breakdown of the classic!

Soft neoprene, adjustable straps, light weight, and easy clean. The classic harness goes over the head and fastens under the chest. With the same breathable mesh lining as the Oxford, it's a durable and comfy harness.

The first time I took Miller and Rose out into the real world...I think we could call it a success!! What a great weekend we had at with for Barkfest and the Pawtisan market. As you can see, Hello Mr Fox was again the most popular! I wish we had taken more photos of the other dogs and their new goodies, but leopard prints were also a big hit! Looking forward to doing more events and meeting lots of gorgeous dogs and their owners. Dog people are the best!

Did you know we have 2 styles of harness for you to choose from?

Our Oxford Luxe harness is made from high quality, tough, and water resistant oxford fabric. It has a step-in design which makes it perfect for dogs who are head shy. The straps fasten together with one clip towards the middle of the shoulders and the harness lies lower across the chest, taking the pressure off the neck and making it a much more comfortable option for breeds with broad shoulders and helps add control to dogs that pull.
