It's funny how a farmer spends countless hours getting the land ready, from plowing to planting. He spends $1000's of dollars on fuel, equipment, and repair bills. He spends many hours praying for rain or sunshine instead of sleeping. He sweats like no other job will make you. He works like most people wouldn't.

He gets yelled at and cussed out by people who get caught behind the tractor traveling down the road, and he spends many times of the day wondering if it's worth it! The deer, coyotes, hogs, c***s, gophers, grasshoppers are just a few pests to contend with!! He does all of this for what??? Ask yourself, "Why would he do that?"

The answers are all around you. The plate of food sitting in front of you, the clothes on your back, the shoes on your feet, and the last answer is the one that puzzles most people. It's the dust, love for agriculture, and the satisfaction of knowing he has done his part at the end of the day! I'd like to thank all the farmers out there who help make the world go round!

God bless our farmers!

Peanut butter and natural yogurt! Now there's a taste sensation - who knew? This is topped with 🍌 banana and a sprinkle of cinnamon too.
We sell 1 litre tubs of our homemade probiotic yogurt on the milkrounds and its great with everything. Try mixing it with mint sauce for a tasty dip or an easy topping for your lasagne when it's topped with cheese....😋

He has a very good point...

When crop farmers start to come out in defence of meat and milk farmers, we can then put an end to the scourge of veganism and militant animal activism. 🙏

I always wondered why crop farmers never come to the defence of meat and milk farmers when they are under attack by vegans and animal activists.
After all, just as many or even more animals die during crop farming.
Finally The Punk Rock Farmer did it.
He is indeed a rock star in the farmer’s world.
Much much much respect!

We at EOM always believe that regenerative farming needs both animals and plants. Both are intricately linked in the all encompassing web of life that we are all part of. It is no wonder that plant and animal farmers both need each other and are inextricably connected. Veganism is disordered as it tries to separate one from the other.

~ Milton.

We are therefore more than honoured to share his post below….

“Sorry it has been a minute, but I’ve got nice weather and full tanks of diesel so I’m working ground. Today we relocated about 20 snakes, 15 baby rabbits and killed mice by the hundreds. Decided to repost this since some new folks have started following.
I’m sure everyone has seen the speech made by Kevin Costner as his character in about plowing and planting a field. Thing is…. we are not actors. We grow what vegans eat. This little guy is cute, cuddly, and brand new to the spring. It is also my enemy. I kill hundreds of these little guys on behalf of those who eat my crops every year. Unlike the snake, killdeer, or praying mantis, we don’t go out of our way to save them. Elijah walked this little guy into the pasture and put him in some tall clover. It’s siblings met their fate under my tiller. I wasn’t trying to get them or aiming for them, it just happened. It will again several more times before we are done with field prep. The one that was saved from the tines will most likely meet his fate in the mouth of a fox or coyote or in the claws of an owl.
Here is the thing… If you are vegan, good for you. If you don’t care about what other people eat, even better. But if you are one of those who self righteously proclaim your diet causes no or less harm- SHUT UP. If you try to lawyer your way out of that by saying it is the least amount of harm- SHUT UP. In my life time as a farmer I’ve sent maybe 30 head of cattle to slaughter and about 200 hogs. But deer, rabbits, rats, mice, moles, voles, ground hogs… thousands. Millions if you count insects. All so YOU can eat your plant based diet. Eat what you want… Rock out your vegan self, just stop calling my fellow farmers who ranch or run dairies murderers. We all got to eat. “
