Our family have farmed at Clotton Hall for six generations looking after the surrounding land with our herd of free-range cows.

In 2017, Henry decided to start processing the farms milk into a delicious clotted cream for the local shops and cafes - nowadays, it goes to lots of fantastic independent stores across the country and is also stocked in local and stores.

Following on from the success of Cheshire Clotted Cream, Henry launched Fresh Luxury Custard and Clotted Cream Rice Pudding.

Housing measures to protect poultry and captive birds from avian influenza are in place across the UK as of today (29 November 2021).

This means that it is a legal requirement for all bird keepers to keep their birds indoors, or where this is not practical, to take steps to separate them from wild birds.

Keeping your birds undercover away from wild birds is vital to minimise the risk of them becoming infected with avian influenza by wild birds.

But housing alone is not the only solution – it remains essential that you follow strict biosecurity measures to reduce the risk of disease spreading to your birds. Read more:
