Our hearts go out to a fellow groomer who was taken far too soon in the awful murders of Louise, her sister and mum also.

Let’s remember her in the industry and all the love and care she would have given to the dogs just like us.
Dog groomers are one of a kind and we are such a small community it’s hard to hear this happen to one of us.
Louise your legacy will live on through dog groomers 💕🫶🏻

Back from my holidays,

Serious holiday blues & missing the Greek way of life but was sooo happy to see Betty.

Anyway, reason I'm posting is to share this absolutely amazing sculpture I've had made of Winston.

I can't believe how much it looks like him, I've been waiting over a year for one of these to be made,

Please give this lady a shout if you'd like anything making, she does lots of personal animal sculptures, from car vents, keyrings, full dog sculptures etc!

Even Betty knew who it was when I opened it!

Hi 👋

How are we all doing?

Me & the hubby are currently in Greece at the moment celebrating our honeymoon a year late as we couldn't decide where to go last year!

The funny thing is, we was caught in the carnage at Manchester airport with the power cut / it was horrendous to be fair !

& we've ended up with no suitcases for the past 3 days! 😂

If we didn't laugh, you'd be a miserable sod all holiday!

I've looked like a Greek goddess for the past 3 days but I'm very happy our suitcases have been delievered this afternoon, all I wanted was my nerve meds for my back more than anything! 😂

The Greek community have been nothing but supportive to us all, the hotel we're staying at have been amazing as I was really bad with travel sick when we arrived!

Hope you're all enjoying the English weather , it's meant to be a hot one isn't it!

Keep those animals cool/shaded and remember missing a dog walk won't do them any harm, you're saving their lives!

My customer has had to make the heartbreaking decision to say goodbye to the lovely Bailey the cavapoo in February and is struggling without her. 🌈

The Larkin family enjoyed a weekend at the 'bath and west show', this weekend.

it's a great day out , so much going on for everyone , very family oriented & dog friendly!

Betty had a blast ...

You're also supporting self employed businesses down there which is what I love too.

would you believe I saw one of my customers down there working on a stall 😂

Although, I didn't recognise them , they recognised me all those years ago! Amazing 😀

I couldn't believe it! I can't go anywhere without being recognised 😂🙃 I moved to Preston knowing nobody and now look at me 🙄

Just an update on me really:

I am still recovering from my back operation (crazy I know), I'm booked in soon for some injections to hopefully help the pain... not looking forward to that but need something!

Just to let you all know...

my daughter is taking up my business and decided to go 'mobile'.

Joking obviously, I'll get her grooming dogs in no time....

Just a little 👋 hello from me and an update, still recovering from my operation in January. (Crazy I know!).

I'm still in so much pain especially on my left side.

I'm going for another MRI scan on Friday to see what is going on.

I really want to go back to work even if it's part time just for my mental health but at the moment I just can't , I can't do anymore damage to my back as I have Betty to look after when Jay is at work.

I miss all the dogs & just having the work balance life and saying hello to other humans 😂 or even having a conversation with the dog's 😂

Today would have been 'The Pride & Grooms', 3rd birthday! 🎈

Can't believe it didn't even cross my mind, (got so much going on).

However, we did celebrate Betty's birthday party today ... how crazy is that I've organised it on my businesses 3rd birthday.

Although, I am currently still not working due to still recovering from back surgery 🥲

I'm still not 100% fit enough what so ever.

Anyway, take a sneaky peek of Betty's birthday cake I decorated/did for her.... maybe, I need to change job career 😂😂

Hi everyone

I had surgery on my back yesterday.

Had a couple of my customers message me on my normal Facebook account.

I'm okay, a bit sore & rough from the morphine/anaesthetic but other than that I'm a lot better than last time. Thankfully, I haven't lost the spinal fluid this time which I can't be more happy about as that what something else.

Out of action for at least 12 weeks, no lifting at all.

Bigger surgery this time unfortunately & a long way to recovery.

Looking for a Pilates class going forward in the Preston area if anyone can recommend any? I need to build the muscle back up in my left leg.

Anyway, Elmo the cat won't leave me alone tonight lol.

Today, I've turned 32 years old!

Happy birthday to me!

Although, my body is telling me I'm actually around 80 because of my bloody back... as many of you already know I'm currently not working at the moment.

I wish I was , honestly.

My operation on my back for the third time is next Tuesday!

I can't even lift Betty out of the bath so it's literally impossible for me to lift any breed of dogs!

You know your getting older when you just want comfort clothes (dry robe coats are the way forward),

& taking your children out on your birthday rather than taking yourself out for the day 😂😂

Has anybody else had this horrible virus going around? The cough Betty has is horrendous & Jay hasn't been well either for at least a week!

Anyway, hope your all well!

Sorry , I haven't been working much this year! My on going back problem is just not right at the moment , I struggle at times to even lift Betty up which is heartbreaking as a first time Mum.

I'm actually due another back operation in January unfortunately.

How are we all doing?

Just to let everyone know I'm not working at the moment due to the ongoing work on the 'house that jack built'! 🥲🙈

While all this has been going on...

me & Betty haven't been very well at all... A blessing in disguise really! 😪🤧

Yesterday, was the day I had a bit of energy and dragged the hubby (still can't believe I'm saying that!) to a pumpkin patch as I love Halloween! 🎃

Hoping all the work will be completed by next week but who knows .........

Happy 19 months Betty Boo!

This little lady loves nothing more than being outdoors no matter what the weather 😂

Where has my baby gone lol?

Officially a toddler & don't I know it ....... hence the picture of the sudocrem the other week! 😂

Although, this week she is off nursery as Covid is going around .... if you have Covid, please stay away from me lol & please bare with me replying back to messages. (I'm a busy full on Mum at the moment!)🙈❤️

I've only just got over tonsillitis and personally I don't want Covid again 😂🙈
