Just back from a weeks holiday and left our Golden Retriever Luna with James for the duration. We would normally leave her in kennels but always needed veterinary treatment after picking her up… i found James on Facebook and he came round to have a talk to us and meet our dog. On the day of the holiday, he was prompt and collected Luna in his van, during the holiday we recieved updates and photos and could instantly tell how happy she was! We have no hesitation leaving her with James again and would recommend 100% to anyone! Luna gives a big woof of appreciation too! 🐶🐶 5stars for sure ⭐️

James fed and watered my cats and tortoise whilst we spend the weekend away. He provided updates to put me at ease. Good value for money and this meant that neither the cats or myself was stressed by needing a cattery over the weekend.

My Best Friend Blackpool and Preston is owned and operated by James Falder who is based in Preston and covers South West Lancashire.

Like many pet owners, I love animals! My thirst for knowledge of “everything dogs” began several years ago when my family adopted a rescued Patterdale Max and then a few years later another rescued Patterdale (Archie) became part of the family. Since having Max and Archie in my life, I’ve spent countless hours learning about animal behaviour, dog training, animal nutrition and best practices for caring for a happy, healthy pet.

Before I came across My Best Friend I held various office-based positions which left me craving the outdoors especially since I’d just returned from a year in the Canadian Rockies skiing and hiking. I would daydream of the country walks I like to take my 2 Patterdales on whenever the opportunity arose, but with the work-life balance I now have running my own dog care business I can do this more regularly and take your best friend on the same adventures myself, Max and Archie love to go on.

The passion I have for dogs, as well as being driven to start my own business is the motivation behind joining forces with My Best Friend, as well as the desire to provide an excellent high-quality dog care service in Preston and Blackpool. I look forward to receiving your enquiries and can’t wait to be your local trusted dog care professional.
