Please be careful with your dogs at the bottom of Buckley lane (Drinkwater Lodge old Tip) and adjacent areas in the Clough and Drinkwater Park.
It seems someone thinks it’s 1970 and OK to let their dogs roam unsupervised. In this case up to three German Shepherds one little more than a puppy.
I spoke to a man staying there some months ago about the puppy being on the loose on the road and got the big “So what shrug of the shoulders”
I have been familiar with one of the dogs for some years and it’s usually on a Halti under control with its owner. That said it’s always been very dog reactive / aggressive.
Yesterday it charged me and one of my dogs. Luckily my dog ran when I told it to.
Had it not, had it gone into submission or stood its ground I’ve no doubt we would both have been bitten.
