We are a family run yard, with excellent facilities including: large indoor arena, outdoor arena, summer turnout, rotational winter turnout, hacking on local country roads and much more.

A Spooktacular jumping night on Wednesday with some of our liveries 👻

Dad had the hard task of picking out the best Halloween costume which went to Stella & Tino who were dressed up as Alice in Wonderland and the Cheshire Cat 🏆

Always a great night for those taking part, whether for building up confidence or practicing jump off turns, everyone always tries their best and encourages one another on🤍

Summer holidays can only mean one thing! Abigail is out on a mission and the yard is in powerwash and painting mode. Best feeling cleaning away the winter dirt and making the yard look all pretty again🤩🤩🤩

Last night we held our first L&L’s jumping night… with encouragement for some of our liveries 🤩

I think you can tell by the smile on their faces what a successful evening it was for all! We can’t wait to do it again in a fortnights time and see everyone’s confidence improving as the weeks go on 🏇🏽

I think we might even need to start a spring/summer league and get some prizes for everyone who takes part 🏆🏅

On Tuesday night we held our first ever arena hire for David Gatherer lessons that were organised and ran by Ayr Riding Club with the assistance of our amazing onsite physio Linda (Equi-Poise Sports & Remedial Therapy) 🐎

We had a wonderful turnout and thoroughly enjoyed seeing other horses and riders enjoying the use of our indoor arena and jumps. After each group lesson the riders were then rewarded with some homemade Mars bar crispy cake and the horses received a goody bag from Linda alongside a voucher for a physio appointment 🍬💌

We are hoping to potentially start offering arena hires during the day whilst most of our liveries are at work/school. The arena hires could be for individuals, groups or clubs- evening hires potentially also available with sufficient notice 📆

On Thursday 1st February we celebrated 4 years of Woodside Farm Livery 🍾🥂

A lot has changed over the last couple of years and still more to come 🔨

We are so thankful for all our amazing liveries and there wonderful horses and ponies that make our yard as special as it is ✨

Here’s to another year of lots of laughs and plenty of memories 🫶🏼

2 years of Woodside Farm Livery

Within the last 2 years we have made many changes and improvements to the yard- all of these we do for our wonderful liveries and their talented ponies/ horses.

It’s been another challenging year for everyone but having the support and love from those around you always help to keep you motivated and get the best out of yourself and your pony/horse.

We wouldn’t be where we are without the continued support from everyone who has followed and liked our page, we thank you all so much.

Here is to many more memories and years and to come 🐴🤎

Our newest addition to the yard is our AMAZING infrared solarium located next to our wash bay and hot shower 🔥. Perfect for the cold and wet nights approaching us as we go into winter.

Not sure who is loving it more… the horses or the humans 🐴🧡

A year ago today we welcomed in the first of many liveries onto the yard. What a year it has been, we have been so fortunate to gain such wonderful and amazing liveries with their talented ponies/horses and we are so grateful to have them all part of the Woodside family. We wouldn’t be where we are without the support of our liveries and everyone who continues to follow our page, we thank you all so much. 1 year of Woodside Livery 🎉 I can’t believe it has been 365 days since we started our adventure. We have had the best time and are so grateful to the wonderful people and 4 legged friends who we get to call our horse family. There has been many changes to Woodside over the year with another 2 exciting installments on their way 😬 Here’s to another year with many more fun and happy memories 🍾⭐️

The driveway maintenance has been one of our main priorities over the last few months.
This has involved unblocking the drainage and then resurfacing the road.
For anyone visiting the yard we have a 5 mph limit in place to ensure the safety of our 4 legged friends and young children. 🐎🐕‍🦺

Really wish we had a before photo from 6 months ago to show the difference in the fields!
A few rounds of fertilisation and the grass is looking great in preparation of winter. Lots of happy horses with big grass bellies 🐎☘️🌱
