What a transformation on Arthur's canines! 🤩

Arthur is an old rescue boy and had very thick build up but with a few sessions he should have a lovely young set of gnashers! 🦷

Due to his age and being a bigger dog the risk of putting him under anaesthetic is greater but with a regular routine for teeth cleaning he shouldn't need to go under anaesthetic. 💉

This cheeky boy Milo!

He's really starting to get used to the grooming process now! It's so important to bring your puppy to the groomer as soon as possible. This is to gradually build up the grooming process.

Leaving your first grooming appointment late can cause a lot of unnecessary stress. It can also be traumatic if the dog had become matted as this can be painful for them depending on the severity. ✂️

Yogi came for his first emmi pet session today and we made some amazing progress for his first time!

Yogi's owner wanted his teeth doing after vets recommended he would need to be put under anaesthetic for a teeth clean. However, Yogi's owner wanted to avoid putting him under anaesthetic.

This option is only possible if there are no underlying issues with his teeth, gums or any teeth that need removing. The emmi pet is not suitable to replace veterinary treatment, but can be used for cleaning if no other issues with the teeth or gums! ( I will always advise if I believe they need to be seen by a vet and not carry out the clean)

Yogi will be coming back in a couple of weeks for another session and we will show the update once he has been! 🦷🪥

Emmi-Pet teeth cleaning results!

Benji has had 3 sessions so far and as you can see so much has been removed!

The most amazing thing about this process is that there is no pain or discomfort caused by this cleaning process and all without any sedation or anaesthetic!

By getting your dogs teeth cleaned on a regular basis you are preventing a mass build up which would require veterinary attention, meaning your dog being put under anaesthetic.

Bluebell the cavapoo 🐩

We had to do a very short cut on little bluebell due to matting, especially on her feet and legs. This is a common problem with doodle type breeds due to the nature of their curly coat. But once you are on top of it, it becomes much easier.

To prevent matting:

✂️ Use appropriate tools to brush and maintain the coat between grooming appointments is so important.

✂️Book regular grooming appointments. It's always best to pre-book appointments to ensure you don't get out a routine.

✂️Going for a shorter cut will make maintaining the coat much easier, especially if you find it difficult to brush the dog in-between grooms.

Charlie boy 💙 🐾Booking in regular appointments is really important, especially on dogs with this sort of coat. ✂️Regular appointments mean the coat is much more manageable at home preventing knots and matts which are very uncomfortable for the dogs.
