Happy Friday 🩷 just a quick message. I’ve had so many messages and phone calls recently and I’m very behind with them all, so thank you all for being so patient with me. I’m going to sit down with my phone on Sunday and get back to as many as possible.
With regards of upcoming appointments that were booked in at the start of the year. These appointments are all still cancelled and once I know the days I’m working I’ll contact you with your new appointments.

It’s my final week in the salon before I go on maternity and I can’t quite believe it, it’s gone so quickly but also can’t wait to welcome our new future groomer to the world 😉
I just want to say a huge thank you to everyone who’s been so understanding from the start. It’s been a very stressful few months, but everyone’s been so great and I can’t thank you all enough. Having to close my business for a couple of months has been very overwhelming after working so hard over the last 5 years, but I’m very lucky to have such an amazing clientele.

However I do want to say, I’m now 3 weeks away from my due date and working over time to try and accommodate everyone. But theirs only a certain amount of hours in a day as well as my legs coping being on their feet all day 😂 if I am to get a cancellation this week anyone on my cancellation list will be contacted. However I do sincerely apologise if I can’t get your dogs in before the 12th.
I wish everyone the best for the next few months and hope to welcome you back after my maternity leave.
Please don’t hesitate to contact me if you have any concerns with your dogs over the next few months. It may take me a while to answer but I will try and get back to you as soon as possible.
Once again thank you for all your support and I look forward to seeing when I’m back ♥️

Maternity leave update

As we are getting closer and closer to my due date, I’m wanting to keep everyone up to date with your appointments, and what will happen while I am on maternity.

At the beginning of the year, I had mentioned maintenance grooms being available while I am on maternity. Unfortunately, the person who was going to be taking over while I will be off has had to leave due to personal circumstances. Therefore maintenance grooms won’t be available while I am off.

I am hoping to be working up until April 12th, and currently planning on coming back into the salon mid June/July part time. This will be dependant on mine and baby’s health. Therefore, any appointment booked in after April 12th until June 9th are regrettably cancelled. If we are needing to change this I will keep you updated as much as possible. I do sincerely apologise for any inconvenience this may cause, but I do hope you all understand.

If you’re wanting to cancel any other appointments, please give me plenty of notice, therefore I can offer that appointment to someone on the cancellation list.
If your dog(s) are due a groom after the 12th April and would like to be groomed before I finish please let me know and I will contact you if I get a cancellation.

And I hope to see you all once I’m back from maternity.

🚨Update regarding appointments 🚨

Over the weekend I will be going through my diary as I’ve got a few appointments (mainly Wednesdays appointments) needing to be rescheduled for other dates.

Regarding appointments before I go on maternity I only of a handful at the end of February/ beginning of March. Unfortunately I don’t have any just before I go on maternity. I do have a cancellation list so please pop me a message if you’d like to be on this list. Unfortunately this isn’t available for new customers.

Roxy having the best start to puppyhood ♥️
Grooming can be scary for your dog(s), and introducing your puppy to the salon and their groomer at a young age is extremely important. The younger they are the better, once they’ve had their second puppy vaccination (3 months old). And we recommend having a couple of puppy introductions before their big girl/boy groom, usually around 6 months of age.

✅ Introduce grooming at home from the first day they come home.
✅ Introduce the grooming salon once they’ve had their second puppy vaccination.
✅ Have a couple of puppy introductions before their first full groom.
✅ Puppy grooms from 3 months to 6 months of age.

❌ Leave your puppy until they are 6+ months for their first grooming sessions.
❌ Not introducing grooming at home.

If you are ever unsure about grooming for your dog or puppy at home or in the salon we are always happy to help and give our advice, making sure your dog and yourself are happy and stress free 🥰
