The next couple of months are filling up fast! As you know, I will be going into my final year of University so I will only be doing weekends and the odd midweek day over the coming winter months (aside from reading week and half term) So it is advised that you book your grooms (especially those on routine schedules) as far ahead as possible to save disappointment. Last but not least MY gorgeous doggy daughter Kenni came in with her just as gorgeous daddy on his lunch break for a much needed bath and De-shed. My hoover will thank me later- no chance of a blowdry because she turns into the Tasmanian devil (but we knew she would anyway!) she’s a rescue so she has her issues. But she’s our child and we love her.

Next up this afternoon was Toby in for his first ever puppy introduction at the groomers. This gorgeous boy came bounding in with his lovely owner (who was only expecting a brush today) - and completely caught me off guard! I was expecting a wriggly, yappy and scared puppy (as most dogs are at their first grooming appointments) but instead he was cool, calm and collected. He genuinely behaved likes he’s been doing it for 15 years.

So instead, he got a full bath and blowdry as well as some playtime after we were done.

This afternoon was a pamper day for Jimbo. This 14yo stud muffin is such a wonderful boy! He came in today for his first ever professional groom!

!!You’re never too old to try something new!!

What a lovely afternoon spent getting to know him and his lovely owner who opted to stick around and have a cup of tea whilst Jimbo had his pamper. He even fell asleep on the table he was so chilled!

This morning we had the lovely Seren! She lived up to her name because she was a superstar! She looks and smells amazing and is feeling super! Her owners pre-warned me she wouldn’t like the dryer, so instead she was towel dried and with a little help from some fetch up and down the shop she was dry very fast!!

Finished off with lovely boy Oscar this afternoon in for a full body clip! He was adopted late in life and is very attached to his lively owner. So they stayed to keep him (and me) company for the groom so Oscar felt safe and relaxed. I have an open door policy so if you wish to stay with your dog, or hang out and have a cup of tea and coffee in the waiting area, you’re more than welcome. ✨

This morning was for Skip!

He’s one of the pups from the spaniels on the farm so I already knew he’d be lovely and I was right! Amazing boy! He came in looking a little scraggly with some fluffy sides and legs. His owners wanted to stay away from the clippers, so we did some hand scissor work to get him looking shiny and trim again.

He was a superstar!!

Dearest customers: For those of you who have been in over summer you will know that I am going back to university in October which will limit my opening times to weekends and one mid week day. October has already started to fill up with returning custom (which is amazing thank you) 🩷✨ booking in advance is suggested to maintain routine grooms as the slots are now halved for the winter months.

If you’re interested in getting your dog groomed in September, please message the page. Limited Spaces are available but filling up fast!

And for those of you asking, I am still doing my pet check services. I’ve been doing it for 2/3 years and have some lovely clients I look forward to seeing on a regular basis. September and November are both full for let check services, but if you’d like to enquire please message the page!

✨✨✨✨THATS AUGUST! ✨✨✨✨✨

From rushing to open, to grooming all your lovely dogs- it’s been a hectic (but in a good way) month.

60 dogs later, some of which I’ll see soon and others I’ll see next summer- it’s been a pleasure.

Another HUGE shoutout to my mum, friends and family that helped get me over the line to get open, from building and decorating into the night- to spreading the word, liking posts, sharing and supporting from the side- it all means so much.

Here’s to a successful Autumn!

This morning and afternoon we had Teddy and Bill who haven’t been able to get an appointment at the groomers for a very long time! So we did have to shave Teddy right down and Bill also had a lot off! Thankfully they’re booking in routinely to stay on top of those curly coats that thankfully grow back fast. Well done boys-

Next up we had Bonnie! 😩🔥 SHES FEELING BONITA 🥰

This little girl is probably the smallest dog I’ll ever have in the salon, when I mean she’s tiny I mean I was scared she was going to wash down the drain! 😂😂😂

She came in for the dogs bo****ks and she maybe small but she’s 100% mighty- she wriggled so much had to pull out the air jail for nails - but she was perfect for everything else.

Super busy day today! 🥵

These 5 lovely family of poodles in all shapes and sizes came in for a bath and trim. Dylan, Blue, Harley, Peaches! Cassy (the spicey girl from opening day) came in also for a shave off and is feeling the lightest she’s felt in a while! Thanks to a helping hand from her owner.

First off this morning is Elsie!

Elsie’s owners like to keep her long- and that’s not a problem because they look after her coat at home in between grooms. There wasn’t a knot or Matt to find on her today-a groomers dream.

She’s been used to grooming since she was a puppy and it shows because she was an expert at every part of the process. She even laid down at one point!
