Lovely day out for Chloe, getting back into the swing of jumping a course🙏🏻🤩
Earlier this week, we had Sophie competing at the British Showjumping Club and Schools Final at Stoneleigh Park! Competing against some strong combinations, Sophie bagged a 6th place in her 60cm Club Final, in her first A7 class too🎉
Sophie also had some lovely rounds in her 60&70cm School Final as well as a 70cm Club Final, learning over 5 different courses, including jump offs💪🏻🏆
Sophie also represented the British Showjumping Bristol & Somerset (48) for the Academy where she had two lovely rounds again🤩

TRUST IS KEY
Whether it’s rider error or horse error, both must have trust in the other to be able to help one another when it’s needed. This is the foundation of developing a partnership.
Everyone’s quick to post on social media about their highs and edit out the bad bits, myself included, but actually how you overcome and preserve through the bad bits turns it all around into greatness and shows how much ride-ability you have as a partnership! It may even include letting go of your reins halfway through a 1.10m combination and putting all the trust into the horse underneath you!
Rider and horse errors occur all the time, it’s how you use them to learn from is what makes you a better rider. It might not always look pretty, but riding effectively isn’t pretty🐴

⭐️Two great lessons held at Leyland Court Farm, Equestrian Centre yesterday for Florence and Sophie and their ponies⭐️
It can be quite scary and difficult when you’re young and you take that next step up but when you have a great support team around you, who knows what the future holds🏆
Very proud of these two, trying out some new methods to improve their riding and gain more confidence✅
