Just putting it out there, that this lady is why there is a Choice Pet Supplies. She loved all animals, especially dogs. There was always between one and three dogs in the home as I was growing up. She thought she didn't like cats much, and then she rescued a stray cat while we were on holiday in Scotland, and soon we had eight cats (all at the same time), who all got on great with the dogs. Also, there were many other animals, about 20 rabbits and about 20 guinea pigs, all at the same time. Koi Carp, Terrapins, an African Grey, an Umbrella Cockatoo, canaries, budgies, chickens, other aviary birds whose names I can't remember, and gerbils. She briefly owned goats until she realised they could easily get over a six foot fence and eat our neighbour's fruit and veg.
She didn't really like people, apart from one or two, and put all her love into her pets. She was a lot like many of the customers who I have got to know. When she died, she left savings which my Dad became in possession of. When I asked for help to set up this pet business, he happily gave those funds to me because he thought that she would want this. I've had some good luck, and the right Mum for this job.
