My aim is always to try and capture the subjects character, sometimes it's easy, sometimes it isn't! Just like people there are some animals that like the camera and some that run a mile (if your not careful!).

I was out Tuesday photographing Ginger, a lovely friendly chap quite keen to have his picture taken. Well, he enjoyed the bridery it involved at least!

Last weekend saw my most unusual commission. I was photographing the staff's pets at a dental practice! There were some 16 dogs involved shooting both in the surgeries and on the Cathedral Green.
It was a busy afternoon but the whole shoot was great fun and my thanks to the staff at Rockhouse Dental Practice.

While checking out some shoot locations today I met this lovely 6 month old lab.
Pippin would rather having been playing games, but we managed to get a couple of shots in.

Not really a pet, but a beautiful animal.
This lovely Highland cow was at Staunton Farm near Petersfield.
Bit of a long way from home, but well worth a visit if you are in the area.

Been a while! So busy with the grandchildren and other life bits that there has been little time to post here!
However, now god a new camera to play with, so my first attempts. It's a secondary camera so will not replace my D600, and I an still getting to grips with it, but nice to get a picture of Percy and Trixie together.
