Our team member and cat enthusiast Laura was blessed with 2 baby boys and 2 stunning girlies. They are still very young and need to stay with mum for a few more weeks. They have just started to open their eyes.

We have all fingers and toes crossed for the pitter patter of some lovely healthy newfie puppies this summer!! 🤞🏼🤞🏼 this has been a planned and longed for litter, for many many years.

So excited, hopefully our beautiful Tonks will become a mummy too very soon 💖

We already have a waiting list for puppies. All owners will be fully home checked before being chosen as future families for our babies.

Job Title: 2x Part-Time Cattery Assistants

Location: The Cat Hillton, Luxury Cat Hotel in Rainham, Essex

Hours: Approximately 12-16 hours per week.

Regular hours will be a full day each either a Monday or a Thursday and a half day each either the Tuesday or Wednesday.
Mondays 8:30am-5:30pm
Tuesdays 1:30pm-5:30pm
Wednesdays 1:30pm-5:30pm
Thursdays 8:30am-5:30pm

Weekend availability is essential. You may be expected to help in busy periods.
Flexibility with hours is highly desired.

Two members of our staff are going on Maternity Leave from April 2025, so we are looking for someone who is willing to do more, especially during school holidays.

Join our family-run cattery, where we treat every feline guest like one of our own! We are dedicated to providing a safe, loving, and comfortable environment for cats while their owners are away. We offer a premium 5 star service where cats couldn’t want for more.

Job Description:
We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Cattery Assistant to join our team. This is a part-time self-employed position. Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Feeding and caring for the cats. You must be confident handling cats of all temperaments. It is expected that you would be able to efficiently and confidently place cats into carriers.
- Cleaning and maintaining the cattery environment. Keeping our 5 star hotel clean is of upmost importance. We need someone who is physically fit and able to clean our suites between cat clients.
- Providing enrichment and playtime for our feline guests.
- Monitoring the health and well-being of the cats. Reporting to the manager and owner of any issues.
- Assisting with customer inquiries and bookings in person and over the phone.
- Maintaining detailed records of each cat’s care.
-Checking cats in/out of our hotel using our computer system

Requirements:
- Passion for cats and their well-being
- Previous experience in a cleaning role would be desirable
-Experience working with cats is desirable but not essential
-Working towards an animal qualification or having obtained a qualification related to animals is desirable.
- Strong attention to detail and cleanliness
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays
-Physically fit and able to bend up/down to clean rooms
-Animal care related qualifications are desirable but not essential.
