What is RAMLETS? RAMLETS (aka RamsgateLETS the Ramsgate Local Exchange Trading System) is a community-based barter system. Members pool their skills and resources to form a local network, which allows them to trade goods and services without using money. Instead of using pounds and pence, RAMLETS has its own 'currency' called 'RAMS'. It was started in 2014 and is one of over 450 similar systems ar

ound the country. Please have a look round the public areas of our website. There is a FAQ under the About link. This will describe the LETS concept and also show what can be done via the website once you have joined. If you like what you see then please join up. Examples of services RAMLETS members might offer or request are:

Computer help, such as networking and program setup; Dog walking and feeding; Waiting in for a delivery
Providing food for an event; Face Painting; Proofreading; Translation help; Cookery classes; Yoga/Pilates
Seedlings, vegetables and plants; Conversation; Shopping; Handywoman; Musical performance; Reiki; Decluttering
Babysitting; Gardening; Transport; Lifts; Assembling flat pack furniture; Ironing; TEFL etc; VHS conversion
