The Cat Lady (Thanet Cat Sitting Service) is a bespoke pet sitting service. It's the perfect alternative to a cattery or having to rely on a neighbour’s goodwill. We tailor our services to your requirements when we visit, allowing your cat’s routine to remain unchanged whilst you are away. This allows your cat to remain in the comfort of their own home with their own familiar sights and smells and

is less stressful for both you and your cats. We are also often cheaper than a cattery too! We offer pet sitting in the local Thanet area. We will visit your home to refresh food and water, clean litter trays and of course give your cat lots of fuss and attention. We also will care for smaller pets too like rabbits, guinea pigs, birds and hamsters, changing water and food bowls and cleaning out cages. We can take care of normal household chores such as watering plants, putting the rubbish out, clearing mail and turning lights on/ shutting curtains. Please contact us to discuss rates and availability. We are also able to help with regular and long term bookings (if you are working abroad regularly or in hospital). Please note special rates apply for Christmas and New Year. We provide friendly, reliable, trustworthy and experienced cat sitting services. We are CRB (DBS) police check and certificated (copy can be shown on request). The Cat Lady is fully insured with Petplan Sanctuary.

Morning Everyone,

I've just posted my remaining days off for the year. Hope this helps. I have decided to take 3 weeks off in September. I've made this decision as I work the whole Summer holidays - when the kids are off and always need a rest in September. We've faced a more stressful time than usual recently and I would like the extended break. I am so sorry and hope this doesn't cause anyone too many problems.

Morning Everyone,

Lots of messages regarding booking from September onwards.

Just a little update- I had hoped to have the full rota sorted by now (as January is usually the quietest month and a rest after working Christmas and New Year).

However, life has had different plans. My darling Ruby had a cancerous mass removed from her bowel just before Christmas.... My other little tortie Roxy, is currently in and out the vets with suspected Lymphoma.... and I lost my darling Peep this week.

It's hard to plan holidays and days off at the moment- both mentally and with the sheer amount of vet bills.

I promise I will make a decision ASAP and am aware people are waiting.

Welcome home to everyone that has already made their way home. I have most other families coming home in the next 3 days ❤️

Apologies for Christmas cards - I was very well intentioned and bought them ready... A few people know I've had a very poorly kitty Ruby - over the last couple of weeks and we almost lost her in the days before Christmas Day. We were even at the vets with her Christmas Eve - so obviously being fully booked & a very poorly kitty... Most the Christmas cards are still here! 🫣 I do hope though that everyone had an amazing couple of days!

It's still busy for a bit longer so am catching up with this morning's messages shortly but all kitties are well 🐾

Good Evening Everyone, It's been a busy first day back and I've been responding to messages all day and working but still about another 25 outstanding 😁 You amazing people- I appreciate the patience! I'm so sorry but I need some rest now so will continue tomorrow.
