'The Cat Lady' is a cat sitting service for the Thanet area. We are based in Ramsgate and offer first class pet care services. We are fully insured.

We can take care of normal household chores such as watering plants, putting the rubbish out, clearing mail and turning lights on/ shutting curtains. Please contact us to discuss rates and availability. We are also able to help with regular and long term bookings (if you are working abroad regularly or in hospital). Please note special rates apply for Christmas and New Year. We provide friendly, reliable, trustworthy and experienced cat sitting services. We are CRB (DBS) police check and certificated (copy can be shown on request). The Cat Lady is fully insured with Petplan Sanctuary.

She is called Bella - a black and white long haired with tuxedo markings. She rarely goes outside and only in our garden but she jumped the wall last night and hasn’t returned. Around Richmond Road/Grove Road/Crescent road area of Ramsgate. She is very afraid of
people so likely to be hiding. I worry she might be trapped somewhere. Thank you so much x

Availability Update

Fully booked for next week, Saturday 17th August- Monday 19th August (am & pm on all 3 days) and Saturday 24th August (pm) & Sunday 25th August (am & pm).

I'm sorry- I know it's annoying when you want to go away for a whole week 😬 but people tend to book weekends away.... and I will run out of hours in the day! Please don't push and push... I would if I could but it becomes very stressful quickly! 😁🐈‍⬛

Today is my Birthday and this weekend is my 2 last days off until 7th September... so I will now be taking a break 😁 I will be back to work on Monday.

Afternoon Everyone 🐾

Hope you're all well.

Today I have reconfirmed the rest of the bookings up to Friday 6th September. I will be taking my break from Saturday 7th September to Sunday 22nd September- and then be back to work from Monday 22nd September.

It makes sense to contact everyone now - while I have more time and some days off and then concentrate on the actual cat sits over the busy period - and just make the lighter alterations as we go along!

I'm now fully booked and can't take any more evening visits from Tuesday 23rd July to Saturday 27th July. The evening's always take longer with finding parking and traffic so they are now full. I'll keep you updated on availability for July & August as we go along and if I get any cancellations.

I'm now going to take a break as been doing admin since 9am and it is my holiday 🤣 Thank you everyone for instant replies. I promise I see them and will be working my way through them soon 🐈‍⬛🐾

Good Evening Everyone 🐾

Hope you're all well?

Sorry for the radio silence- We were off having fun at Glastonbury festival so it was a little awkward trying to carry diaries around.... I fully expected to launch into action when I got back.... but the crowds of people gave me a rotten cold 😬

Anyway, finally starting to feel more human again! I am on a short break from tomorrow until Sunday 14th July but will be doing administration and messages... Just not actual cat sits. I have a list of everyone I need to message and bookings that need to be confirmed so will be starting that tomorrow 🐈‍⬛ I will confirm all bookings for the rest of July and August- and get new business customers booked in for their initial meet & greets 😁

Anyway for now I'm taking a hot lemon and Carby the cat to bed for cuddles!

Good Morning Everyone 🐾

Thank you for bearing with me this week - it's always much busier than usual when the kids are on holiday 😁 It's also been more challenging with the road closures and diversions. Hope you've all had an amazing week.

Just a reminder that my days off for the next 3 months are-

- Saturday 8th & Sunday 9th June
- Wednesday 26th June (pm) to Monday 1st July
- Saturday 6th July to Sunday 14th July

Also need to mention that I'm going to Dreamland concerts on- 13th June, 20th June, 19th July, 26th July and 25th August so any evening visits on those days will be earlier than usual.

August is now filling up. It's the busiest month and I'll be starting early in the morning and finishing later into the evening. Other than Christmas & occasionally Bank Holidays- it's the only time that will get fully booked.
