**PLEASE SHARE IN ROSSENDALE**

We have had quite a few reports of worries, posted on Facebook, in various groups, in relation to horses in the fields lying flat down.

Please could we reassure people that horses, especially babies, do like to lie flat, with the rest of the herd stood over them.

To people passing on the M66, on the side of the hill where our horses graze, this can look concerning, as they appear not to be moving, but honestly they are feeling safe & relaxed, whilst having a snooze.

We appreciate everyone’s concerns, but wish to put minds at ease by reassuring that the horses are fine. They are checked every day & are under regular care.

Each time a post is brought to our attention we check the horses again to make sure, but it is becoming a stressful to our little yard when it is being posted about horses in trouble, when they are simply relaxing.

We will always take action if anything is reported, but hopefully this post can help put people’s minds at ease.

We have three assisted DIY stables coming available on our little yard, each stable boasts automatic water bowls, full rubber matting, horseproof locks & own private tackroom at the rear of each stable.

Our yard is well established & these particular stables are external, well ventilated & purpose built, with owners based on site, guard dogs & CCTV.

We are able to offer full, part livery or holiday livery as & when needed for cover, but yard is mainly as DIY, with morning feeds & haynets given.

Hay, haylage, straw & other options available on site to be purchased.

On site coach available for lessons.

We offer our fab indoor arena; huge benefit with the British weather and excellent lighting for the darker nights.
Monarch horsewalker, with a roof!
Hot wash room
3 Beautiful fields to ride in after we have completed haymaking.
24/7 summer turnout.
Fantastic hacking, with links to Holcombe hill, Mary Townley loop, Helmshore etc.
