We all love our advent calendars🍫 but, in this case, sharing is NOT caring❌🐶😺✨

❄️Unlike humans; pets cannot process chocolate due to a chemical from the cacao shell known as theobromine. Theobromine has a very similar construct to caffeine and has similar effects☕✨
❄️Darker and more bitter chocolate is much more harmful to cats and dogs due to the higher levels of theobromine; however, all types of chocolate are harmful, particularly if consumed in excess🍫❌
❄️If your pet has consumed chocolate, please contact us immediately with details of the type and amount of chocolate.

Another hot day here at the cattery. Some top tips for keeping your cats cool:
1. Provide a running water source
2. Provide plenty of water bowls around the house and garden
3. Provide shade... lots of it!
4. Cooling mats
5. Keep on top of grooming
