I am working Melb 17h in a long and low position in canter with a minimum amount of contact .

She is positioned long and low, so she can work freely through her body, encouraging a greater range of motion in the shoulders and hindquarters. I find long and low position really helpful for balance and self carriage.

This is essential for many horses and various disciplines ranging from dressage to eventing.

Pasquale Soldovieri

http://www.myhorserider.com/

Born and raised alongside horses, Pasquale Soldovieri has a love and passion for everything equine.

Since moving to the UK from Italy, he has developed more as a rider, trainer, and coach and is now a fully qualified BHS coach and instructor.

His hands-on lifelong experience has provided him with a more holistic approach to riding and training that is clearly seen in his approach to both the yard and the arena. Above all, Pasquale believes riding should be fun, and that it is only by learning to control and communicate with your horse in different situations that your confidence will grow to a point where you can begin to relax and enjoy the experience.
