We aren’t planning on hosting the level 1 this year as we are concentrating on the level 3 dogs, however if you are wanting to join us please get in touch - Claire will be hosting a level 1 at her venue

🥁🥁 Lost Dog Tracking Level 1 🥁🥁

Our Level One Lost Dog Tracking course will run on the 23rd 24th and 25th of April 2025 here in Huddersfield 🥳

This specialist, bespoke course is the start of the journey to training an operational Lost Dog Tracking (LDT) Dog. LDT dogs are trained to follow the specific scent of a dog who has been lost, primarily covering ground in complex tracking environments.

Taught by Claire Brown, who is one of the industry’s leading experts in this field, and has been working as an operational handler since 2018, Claire trains and runs a UK wide team and currently has 31 operational dogs under her banner with many more working through the levels 💪

You will spend time learning both theory and practical training over three days, don’t miss out as this will be the only chance to join our west Yorks team this year

🚀Huddersfield, West Yorkshire

🚀10am – 4pm each day

🚀Dogs must be able to be secured in a vehicle for the theory part of the day and during breaks.

🚀Spaces are very limited

🚀Level One is suitable for all ages and breeds of dog

🚀Dogs must be social or neutral to people and dogs to attend

Typically you would only pay a fee on first registering your pet or if you contact the company to update your details.
It is important to keep your pet’s microchip contact details up-to-date including if you move address or change phone number/ email address. Please contact your microchip provider to update your details.

We have an established network of volunteer handlers and dogs who are trained, assessed, and certified to track lost or missing dogs. LDTN covers regional teams across England and the Channel Islands, all with a wealth of experience and knowledge.

Camera couldn’t get a decent pic so tried under the microscope - still not great bit an interesting find. Tuber Rufum, pretty small and perfectly hollowed out buy a little critter but still a strong indication from the dogs
