Happy Dogs - Dog Walking Dog Walking & Pet Services in Earley & Lower Earley. Happy Dogs Walking Services is run by myself, Debbie, and our 6yr old long coated GSD Dre.

I have over 25 years experience owning and working with all manner of dogs, both big and small, both happy and not so happy! After owning dogs whilst growing up, I joined the army at 17yrs old working and training dogs at The Royal Army Veterinary Corp in Melton Mowbray, dealing with all manner of breeds but specialising in nervous dogs. I have also spent a number of years working with the Thames

Valley Police Dog Section. I’ve been so lucky to learn the importance of obedience and play whilst doing what I love and spending time with many many amazing four-legged friends. I honestly don’t think there’s anything better than getting out in the fresh air, come rain or shine and helping your furry friend burn off some energy, socialise with some furry friends ( if allowed) stretch those legs and sniff out an adventure! I am also experienced in dealing with your family member from puppy age to those that may be a little older and need a slower, calmer pace of life, or your pooch who may be a little shy, a little nervous or perhaps even a little grumpy. I’m experienced and happy to use various equipment, for example, if your dog needs to be muzzled whilst walked. I think its truly important to remember all dogs have different personalities and requirements, and I am happy to accommodate your dog’s individual needs. We are fully insured, CRB checked & first aid trained

I suspect these 4 were conspiring in the van on the way to their walk this morning... as soon as I let them off leads, they all scarpered off in opposite directions.
North, South, East & West and all 4 stopped and positioned for a 💩 at exactly the same time. 😫

Ever the professional, I managed to race around and pick up all 4 💩 and bag them 💪🥳

3 of which were all warm....and 1 of which was STONE COLD 🤢 Hands up who thinks that one wasn't one of mine 🤔🤦‍♀️😫

This week has been so tough. Sadly, the time has come to start to slow down and cut down on my dog walking. After 8 years, it's been hard to have to finally admit that I'm not invincible. Professional dog walkers will understand the impact doing this job has on your body, both mentally and most definitely physically. The summers seem to get hotter, and the Winters are most definitely getting longer, wetter & colder. So, after fighting it for some time, this month was my last month with this crew. Ollie - my little Olliebobs. From 9 weeks old to the handsome boy you are today. I'll miss you and your disappearing into bushes getting covered in leaves & twigs. 💙 Kevin - you squeeze my heart. ❤️ no spacial awareness, screams whilst swimming, and is the Happy Dogs Olympic Diving Champion. Dottie - from a scared rescue to a beautiful soft crew member who loves nothing better than running with her friends. 💕 Max - my Choccy Monster. Gives the best cuddles... and the loudest barks in the van 😂 Buddy - I will definitely miss your snuggles. Those piercing eyes I could drown in. 💙 Mia - No stick is safe in the world. One of the best recalls in the business, and a very special girl. 💕 And Arlo - I'm so glad we got to help you overcome your fear of bigger dogs, especially GSD's. You may be small...but you are mighty! 💪 Thank you all for your gifts and cards...I'll hope to see you all out and about.
