When you are nearly 4 things start to happen, even if you are over 17 hands and still gangly not to mention a bit crooked. This is only week 2 but progress is staggering. There are very few people who have the skill to train correctly this way. Only the best for Benjii, thanks Heather from Optimum Equine I am amazed how far he has come in a week!!
Crisp morning in glorious Wales. Great morning with Nikki Evans Racehorse Trainer - Penbiddle Racing who is the first trainer in 🏴 to be using #equimetre from Arioneo.

My office this morning as dawn had just broken. Beauty, views and the sound of hooves ringing in your ears.....what can be better than that?
Took a cheeky morning off to at least get my boy out, dare not run him XC on this ground. Super happy with our rounds. Big thanks Heather at Optimum Equine, super Groom and advice giver and to Giles Huntercombe your eternal patience and fab coaching would seem to be paying off.

Little Buzz is already leading his Mum a merry dance!!
Izzy takes her new baby for his first view of grass today. Jerry and I christened him last night, he was like a busy little bee in his box, please meet Buzz. The good news today is that he had all his checks, everything is normal but his IGG reading is off the scale at 16, due to Izzy’s fab colostrum. One healthy foal!!
This morning at just after 3 am a little colt was born! Izzy is the very proud Mum of a baby with the longest ears you have ever seen and is doing well. Big thanks to Kate Bandey and Richard, Plantation Farm Ltd for the safe delivery. Carthago Chicago has a new son thanks to WG Stud (home of Silvester). Lots of foal pictures coming up.....apologies in advance.....

Altogether Equestrian
International Grand Prix Dressage rider Anna Ross is always concerned about Delagado or Big D to his friends. Today, Altogether Equestrian embraced technology and are now using Arioneo's Orscana. As Anna says, "Why wouldn't you? Technology, based on equine science, that provides me with insight to my horse and his wellbeing is a valuable addition to my yard."

A new you
Are you usually last on your long list of priorities? Never have enough time for yourself? Me too but even I have a couple of minutes of "my time" every day, its all it takes......
Last event of the season and I was looking to finish on a high. The dressage felt fairly consistent but not active enough so got panned - off season work for sure. Deliriously happy with show jumping, a great clear on what was proving to be a testing course. XC, Mr Stretch was a bit sticky through fence 3 but the long uphill gallop from 3 to 4 and I felt all energy disappear. He tried to dive left at pretty much ever fence, gritting my teeth I did complete every jump though it was not our greatest day. Did that hill do him in? Should I have clipped him? Did his fab SJing round confuse him? Plenty of work for the off season. Now to nail this Dressage ....watch out BD, we are coming ..... not to mention Showjumping...... This sport of ours tests you every time, the highs and lows, celebrate the positive, work on the negative and one day it will All come together.....roll on 2018....
Oops, so busy I forgot to post. Mr Stretch and I ventured to West Wilts under heavy skies with my fab groom for the day, Katie Durnford. Seems Stressage judge had an aversion to us🙄 but awesome jumping and XC. Lots to be happy about. Next stop, South of England........
Fab day out with WKKW and our fab coach Warren Lamperd. A day of many firsts!!
