The start of a new chapter...a shining light went out yesterday as mum passed away, I was honoured to care for her at home in her last couple of weeks....her ethos...'you pass this way once - if you want to do it, do it now'

share this far and wide, this person is a danger to dogs, his training methods are appalling, for any Dog training. THERE IS NO QUICK FIX,..don't believe 30 mins T V training is reality, all we would be able to read and write by the time we were 6 months old.....T V and social media is doing more harm than good to our dogs, people get impatient then get rid of the animal....please don't get a dog if you can't commit, physically, emotionally, mentally and financially.....

Why it's sooo important to have good recall and to question .... do we encourage chase play in our dogs??

STAN SAYS...Hope you're all coping with the weather❄️, on a serious note, dont forget to clip your dog on a lead, in parks and woods, a dog fell through the ice of a lake locally and sadly could not be saved 😭

More socialisation, a festival!!🎊🎊, lots of live music, noisy running children and making new friends with the neighbours.. the boy is doing good🐾🐾🐶

It's all go for Stan, lunch at an outdoor cafe, mooch around a castle, stopped of yo see the cows, they were Sooooo inquisitive, then a lovely Beach walk...one pooped dog!

It's been a while....Stan as like many dogs, lockdown came at those crucial times, people and dogs, not a problem as we were allowed out...but social gathering for Stan get a little for overwhelming coupled with his impatience, all normal for Border Collies!, we have worked slowly, recognising when he's had enough, he is 2yrs 9months.. training is slow but sure, yes we often have set backs but, thats life, he's not perfect but we can control him, we are not going for crufts, we want a happy dog...so we are at our first festival, its busy, with music, noisy flags, its windy and people want a fuss.....here's his progress..
