Salmon oil with allergy support

This is a Salmon oil with a difference. If you have a dog who suffers with allergies or you just want to provide the best possible care, then this is definitely worth the read.

Salmon Oil (79.5%): Rich in Omega-3 fatty acids (EPA and DHA), Salmon Oil plays an important role in modulating the immune systems response. Both EPA and DHA have been found to decrease the production of inflammatory eicosanoids and cytokines, which are substances that can trigger allergic responses. Additionally, these Omega-3s can enhance the function of white blood cells that are part of the bodys immune defence, further aiding in managing allergic reactions.

Scutellaria baicalensis: The bioactive components of Huang Qin, known as flavonoids, have been found to inhibit histamine release from mast cells. Histamine is a key mediator in allergic reactions, causing symptoms like itching, redness, and swelling. By suppressing its release, Huang Qin may help alleviate allergic symptoms. It also has anti-inflammatory effects that can help calm allergic reactions.

Ginkgo Biloba: Ginkgo is known for its antioxidant properties and ability to improve blood circulation. Some studies also suggest that Ginkgo can inhibit Platelet-Activating Factor (PAF), a substance that can trigger allergic reactions. By doing so, Ginkgo may help reduce symptoms of allergies.

Urtica dioica: Has been used traditionally for its anti-allergic properties. It is believed to work by reducing the amount of histamine the body produces in response to an allergen. This can help to alleviate symptoms of allergies, such as sneezing, itching, and inflammation.
