If you have a xl bully, a dog that is crossed with one or one that shares physical characteristics (this is important because your dog may have xl bully or banned dog somewhere along his lineage) this will help you.

🐾Register them with a vet

🐾Get them neutured or spayed, chipped and vaccinated, flea and wormed. Also ensure they have a collar and tag with your details- name adress and contact number- this is a legal requirement for all dogs.

🐾Take out liabilty insurance.

🐾 Get a behaviourist to assess your dog.

🐾Register them for a exemption certificate.

🐾Do not leave your dog unsurpervised or take them into areas with other people and pets.

🐾Do not let your dog off lead.

🐾Do not travel with your dog unless they are caged securly.

🐾Start muzzle training- it must be worn at all times (at home and outside)- a good muzzle allows them to eat, pant and drink.

🐾Do training to desensitise your dog with things like nail clipping and being crated.

🐾Always seek the help of a trainer to teach you how to train and interact with your dog. Follow their advice.

🐾Be aware that dogs are not suited to all home environments.

🐾Get a DNA test to investigate their lineage
If your dog has Kimbo in its lineage it is important to understand that your dog may develop a dangerous brain condition that causes uncontrollable agression (similar to cockerpoo madness) and you should seek advice on the signs, symptoms and how to be safe.

🐾Be aware of the signs of dog agression and the 10 steps they take before a bite- dogs who have or develop uncontrollable agression will not show warning.

🐾Be aware of how to safely interact with dogs and what makes them uncomfortable.

🐾Always behave in a calm and confident manner.

🐾Be aware of what to do during an attack to help your self and others.

🐾Crate when alone/ or unsupervised and develop a safe room (take precautions against size and strength) the dog cannot acess and a escape strategy- these are good ways to protect yourself.

🐾When out with your dog wear a body cam, to protect yourself and others from false accusations- always react calmly and remove yourself from the situation as safely as possible.

🐾If the police come to seize your animal react in a calm way- they judge your behavior as well as the dogs. Do not sign anything as this gives the police the right to euthanaise your dog. Do not resist seisure, you should contact a lawyer immediately once the dog has gone. Gather all proof from trainer, vet and lineage, and body cam footage to proove your dog is safe and you are following all steps.

🐾Do your research on their breed/ breeds traits and their training from a reputable responsible source (never a breeder) if you are owner or due to be one.

🐾Do not breed your dogs.

Hi 🐶 my name is trigger and I am
12. Sadly, my mummy made the decision to find me another home because she was too poorly to look after me anymore. I am a typical beagle- full of personality 😜 so I am living with my foster carer until a permanent home becomes available.

I have no known health conditions apart from a little bit of stiffness in my back legs but it doesn’t stop me as I am a young dog at heart. I am vaccinated and chipped, but due my boosters soon. I am used to travelling as I lived in Spain for a while and can be left for several hours. I’m not a chewer, but I have been known to open drawers and fridges. I have a high food drive and a excellent sense of smell.

I am cat and dog friendly, but I am not suitable for a home that has rabbits, birds or small furries. I am also good with children. I’m super clever, so I need a home that can give me lots of time and attention- someone who is beagle savy as I have my own mind.

I love going on walks and adore a paddle, but I do pull a little on my lead and don’t always come back, I like to do my own thing! I would love somewhere i could run around in like a secure field or garden to help me stay calm. I can be possessive over my toys with other dogs when over excited. I am vocal especially when I am playing, excited, bored or can’t get my own way, but overall I am a good boy who is crate trained and likes to play. My favourite games are fetch and tug.

Cuddles on the sofa and a warm lap is my happy place. Please help me find a new home and admire my beagleness- I’m cool, love trigger 🐶🐾🐾

Handsome Barney has had so much fun on his first day swimming and chewing a stick or two. Although nervous at first to be away from his family he did brilliantly, I even earned a paw. High five Barney 🐾🐾

These two beauty’s are Eddie (6 month old horse) and Maggie (12 years of cutness). They spend lots of time with me having walks, and are best of friends. Zoomies ensue 🏎️🐾🐾🐾🐾

They say they love being with me and enjoy their holidays very much! Just recently we went to knowle locks and went bird bowling!! WOOF!

I have had the pleasure of looking after this very handsome young man again all weekend. He enjoyed his dinners and fuss very much, and spent at least one of his nine lives relaxing in the floor to ceiling cat tree chirruping at the country side featherings. Hi my names Sully and I’m a magician of the highest order!! I met a spaniel called abracadabra and we both decided to do a magic trick where you start up as a dog and end up as a fox. The human didn't need to know where I was as she could smell me down wind but she still looked surprised when she saw me! Not only that, I had a trachea last night that was delicious but now my ar****le smells like rubber. So to sumarise I stink and life is pawsome. Viva la doggos 🐾🐾

HI 🐾🐾 I’m sully and Im super cute (see picture for proof), my Dad had to go to work in this place called a manor- iv never been but I heard it’s 10/10 for bacon. He left me with this nice lady, its my first day with her but BOY is she cool. She took me down to the waterfalls where I spent a decent amount of time trying to temp a wood pigeon to be my breakfast…….. AHEM, I mean friend. She calls them Fat Gary’s and told me that there is zero fat chance Gary will agree to my terms. So i swam for big stick instead- human said it was more like a branch but tomato tomatoe, I caught it so I win! Iv been pampered and spoilt, with a hot bath and breakfast, and it’s only 10 oclock! Wednesdays are super! 🐾🐾

Everyone meet LJ! This seriously cute puppy has joined Paws to Explore- people ask for his autograph wherever he goes! Was a pleasure to have him and an honour to make him a regular! 😃 All dogs go home with their favourite toy so they can continue the fun with you- so far Trevor the Trout, Steve the Salmon and Bunny Bounce have all been rehomed with their new bestie 😊
