**Update**
After a 7 day hold and no one coming forward for this little one she has been re-homed to one of our nurses πŸ’œ They are absolutely made for each other and we’re so delighted for them both.

Do you recognise this sweet little girl?
She was found around Pendleton road but has been hanging around for at least 6 weeks. She had a flea collar on but no microchip. She’s super sweet and even purred through her bubble bath. Please call the Redhill branch if you believe she’s yours. πŸ’•πŸ’•

** UPDATE : OWNER FOUND!! **

We had a very cute surprise this morning when a DHL delivery driver pulled up and said that he’d found this little man in the back of his van!
If you recognise this little guy please give us a call at our Redhill branch, we suspect he is a stray as he is not neutered and not microchipped and smells very strongly of Tom cat! But a lovely surprise non the less. (The driver would have picked him up somewhere between Salfords and Redhill/Reigate)
He will be on hold for 7 days and then the lovely Cats Protection will take over his care if he is not claimed ❀️

** Owner Found**

Another sad post from us today unfortunately ☹️

We have had a ginger domestic short hair brought in to us after being in an RTA. He was DOA. He’s not microchipped or neutered but he looks to be in really good condition. If you think this could be your cat please let us know so that we can try to identify him. He will be on hold with us for 7 days. β€οΈβ€πŸ©Ή

***FOUND WHITE ZEBRA FINCH***

A lovely white zebra finch was found lost in the Redhill area. They have a silver ring on their left leg which The ring originates from the Czech Rebublic

If you have any information or could share this to hopefully reunite this finch with an owner, we would be very grateful. This bird is quite nervous about being handled and therefore most likely from an aviary.

Please contact us on 01737761475 or email [email protected]. Please request to speak to Helena - a registered veterinary nurse who is currently caring for the bird until either the owners are found, or a home can be found for the bird.

***From Monday 23rd May 2022***
We are changing the way that we provide out-of-hours emergency cover for our clients and patients. Over the last few years, due to a national shortage of vets and vet nurses, it has become increasingly difficult to provide out-of-hours service at our Redhill clinic.
Vets Now is the pet equivalent of an accident and emergency service, dedicated to providing pets with access to a vet out of hours. Its all they do.
Based at Maven Veterinary Care, 609-613 London Road, North Cheam SM3 9DF, their vets and vet nurses are specially trained to deal with pet emergencies. Because they don’t work during the day, they’ll be up and ready to see your pet at the time you need them.
We believe our partnership offers you and your pet the very best level of care, day and night.
If your pet has an emergency between 8.00am and 7.00pm, please call the practice and we will advise you what to do next.
If you have an emergency when we are closed, please contact our partners Vets Now on 0208 109 2717.

04/03/2022

With the relaxation of covid restrictions we are very happy to be allowing clients back into the clinic.

However to minimise congestion in the waiting room we may at times ask you to wait outside until we are ready to see you.
Thank you for your patience and understanding in this matter.

Full time RVN role at Horley

NO OOHS/ NO NIGHTS +/- 1:3 WEEKEND

Horley is our smaller sister branch out of two practices. The team currently consists of 1 RVN (who will be going on maternity leave early/ mid July) 1 VCA/ receptionist, 2 receptionists and 2 vets who work on alternating days.

Includes:

Contracted to work a 40 hour week 09:00-19:00 Monday to Friday (with a 2 hour lunch break) but we would consider a candidate who would want to work a 36 hour week 09:00-19:00 Tuesday-Friday (with a 1 hour lunch break) if you wish to opt for the Tuesday-Friday option you may be asked to work a Saturday morning on a 1:3 rota starting at 08:45-13:00.

The role would initially be to cover our current RVN's maternity leave, but has the potential to lead to a full-time permanent position at out main Redhill practice.

The role would include admitting and prepping patients for surgery as well as monitoring anaesthetics, recovery and arranging discharge instructions. Redhill is our main hospital so there would not be any hospitalisation cases, and in the circumstance that there is they would be transferred up to Redhill.

You would be required to assist the veterinary surgeon in handling and restraining patients, placing catheters, taking bloods and administering medication via all routes.

General cleaning, stocking up and day to day running of the practice would also be required.

Due to COVID we have stopped running our nursing clinics but as lock down restrictions ease this is subject to change, nurse clinics would involve post-operative checks, nail clips, weighing for flea/ wormer and weight clinics

22/02/2021

Full time registered nurse at our Redhill branch, OOH and weekends (1:5) included.

Salary DOE but with the opportunity to earn extra. Holiday days/ sick pay and a company pension scheme.

Must be RCVS registered.

Please send an email to Abi at [email protected] or call on 01737 772457
