This morning I travelled to Helston to meet this absolutely GORGEOUS litter of mastiff puppies. Their markings are so unique and they are just the most adorable chunky pups. 5 puppies still looking for their forever sofas🐾🐾

Mastiffs have big personalities to match its big presence. They are eager to please. Amazing family dogs that do require training and exercise🐾🐾

This morning I had an early morning visit to see Sandra at Russet Greyhound Sanctuary in Blackrock to microchip these gorgeous Lurcher sisters. Sandra does an incredible job rehoming thousands of wonderful dogs over the years. Her dedication to ensuring these dogs are brought back to health and finding them their forever homes is amazing 🐾🐾

I have had a lot of enquiries recently about microchipping kittens. The most common question is from what age can they be microchipped. As seen below from the cats protection website, there is no minimal age to chip your kitten as long as they are chipped by 20 weeks. My personal preference however is when they are at least 10 weeks as they are a little more robust and have a little more ‘padding’ 🐾🐾

This morning I travelled to Truro to microchip 2 of the cutest litters. 3 miniature poodles and 5 ChiPoos (Chihuahua x Poodle). Gorgeous puppies all waiting to find their forever sofas🐾🐾

Did you know…..

🐶miniature poodles come under the ‘utility’ breed group - this was the smallest breed of poodle until the ‘Toy’ poodle were bred in 1907

🐶they are known to be chatty verbal dogs and like to be around family members, they do not like to be left alone for long periods

🐶toy poodles were bred from standard poodles for owners who did not want such a large dog and were found in circuses as they were easy to train and amuse onlookers
