Barely a year old, Beacon VetCare has taken some great strides but we're still a relatively new business.
This Christmas, we've thought of a way to help two of our local charity partners whilst also encouraging our clients to leave us authentic Google Reviews - we have over 70 lovely client reviews at each Beacon practice, but the more there are, the more likely new clients searching online for a vet will come across our news.
So, until Christmas Day, we're going to donate £10 to both Help4hounds rescue and Clay County Cat Care for every authentic client Google review we recieve. Please follow the links in the comments, support us with your feedback and help us support them this Christmas.

Our annual Shoebox Appeal is underway - all donations gratefully accepted!

If you've not been involved before, what we're trying to do is provide a local rescue with a pile of shoeboxes filled with presents for the various foster and rescue dogs.

The rescues get swamped with unwanted dogs and puppies around Christmas, which usually come with absolutely nothing -
so this gives them a little box of stuff of their own.
Anything dog related can be donated, the list on the poster is just a guide for the basics.

We know filling a whole box can be expensive, so we also take in individual items (eg a ball or a bag of treats) which can then be added together to make a box.

It doesn't have to be a shoebox - any size box is fine, or a stocking, gift bag, carrier bag - whatever takes your fancy! If you'd like to wrap or decorate it please do - all we ask is that we can still open the box / bag to check contents / add extras to it if we have any.

If anyone who isn't local would like to contribute, you can send us a donation to buy things on your behalf, or you can post items to the shop and we'll box them up and take them to the rescue - if sending things via post or direct from Amazon, please address them to "The Dog House shoebox appeal" so we know what they're for!

Thanks as always to everyone who contributes - the shoeboxes have been great fun in previous years, with families making boxes together, and people doing them as a group at work / social groups!

Please do share the poster on your pages & groups, and print it off for your windows and notice boards!

We take in dog-related donations all year round, so if you have any used collars, harnesses, toys, beds etc please do pop them by!
