Having fun on the XC this morning with 🤩
The going is fantastic at the moment, no studs were needed today! Izzy is tuning up for the start of the season in just ten days time but don’t forget we have lots of smaller fences available as well for little ones and greener ones, starting at 40cm.

How lucky are we that despite local roads being flooded, sub zero temperatures 🥶 and storm Bert we still have beautiful arenas to ride on thanks to 🤩

Who’s is coming to get those final fence feels this weekend 🤩?!

🌟 We are gearing up for the hunter trials on Sunday and preparations are looking fab. Even the weather is being kind this time around!

We are delighted to be running a full and busy day and have waitlists running for those that missed out entering on time. We will be starting with the 50cm and finishing with the 100

What a day we had in the sunshine eventually 🤪🤩 Thankyou to everyone who came and supported us today, from the first few that did get the worst of the weather to the last few basking in the sunshine. The feedback was lovely and hopefully it provided an encouraging and educational day for people and horses. A massive thankyou as ever to our wonderful army of volunteers who stuck with us even when we had to go a long way from plan A!

Two phase training event or clear round SJ
An opportunity to train in a competition environment around fully flagged and dressed courses that were built for the BE event this weekend that sadly had to be abandoned.

You will be given a SJ time and then can head to XC soon after. You can SJ in XC gear and rounds will not be scored or recorded. A brilliant chance to get a last run in this season on excellent ground with little pressure. XC fences can mix and match a level up or down and as long as you are deemed safe you may continue after leaving a fence out or having a problem.
We are also running clear round SJ at the same heights, entries can be made at the link below.

💥 We are really sad to have to succumbed to the weather this week. An unbelievable amount of rain at the start of the week and more forecast has meant we are unfortunately unable to run the British Eventing event this weekend to the calibre of what we would want to provide. See below statement from British Eventing 👇

HOWEVER!
Despite the dressage field being the reason to stop play we do have a beautiful looking XC course that is ready to go, on going that is still good and a SJ course on a surface. We will be offering a two phase training show this Saturday 19th October. Courses will be as built for the original event and the day run with our brilliant team of volunteers, medics and control, providing a good competition atmosphere with less pressure, ideal for an end of season run or for schooling young horses.

🐎 Those who were already entered for the BE event are offered a reduced entry fee and new entries can also be taken.

🌟 Entries are open now until Friday lunchtime, times will be available by 6pm Friday.

** EVENT UPDATE** - Littleton Manor - Saturday 19th & Sunday 20th October

Due to the recent adverse weather all BE competition at Littleton Manor has been abandoned, this is primarily due to the dressage area being waterlogged and unfortunately there is no alternative location to re-site the dressage phase to.

The Organisers and Officials have been working hard to try and keep this event going however the weather has yet again been against us.

Matt and Kate Tarrant, the Organisers, are currently looking at the potential of running a training day on Saturday 19th October and if it is possible further details will be available via the Littleton Manor website and social media page.

Rosie Williams said “I’ve been out to the event site today and despite Matt and Kate's work the dressage area is not able to be used however the cross-country course and the show jumping area have held up well. Matt and Kate would like to offer the opportunity for people to attend a training event on Saturday to use the cross country and show jumping tracks which we hope at least offers those that have lost a run an opportunity to get their horses out this weekend.

Entries are still being taken for the at Littleton Manor on the 19th and 20th October
There is a great range of grassroots classes including 80, 90 and 100 plus under 18 sections and GOBE for those not registered but wanting to give the whole BE experience a go 🤩

With event prep well under way we are looking forwards to a great weekend of sport to sign off the season in the south east. Don’t forget valuable points are also available!

🤫 We are only whispering this bit but the long range weather forecast is looking good and the going will hopefully be excellent 🙏
