Another super special lady who has been here with us for a while is looking for a new home.

Belle is a 16.1 10yr old mare by Special De Muze ex Carambole
She has an excellent record BS and FEI competing up to 1.40 including winning at 1.30 in Spain earlier this year.

She is a pleasure to ride, train and look after. Snaffle mouthed and forward thinking but never sharp or silly. Always kind with her ears forward and loves her work. She would happily stay being competitive at these levels and be a great horse in a professional or young riders string but would also look after someone more novice and give them confidence climbing the levels. Last week we had a lightweight 12 year old ride her and was jumping round a course happily in no time, she would be brilliant as a children on horses competitor.

Recent set of X-rays, has only had two owners since a young horse, full history known and a really sad sale. Based here with me at Littleton Manor Equestrian

Looking for someone to come and join us at Littleton 🌟

💥 We are hiring - come and join the team! I am looking for someone to work closely with on a day to day basis with my lovely competition horses.

🌟 COMPETITION GROOM

🙌 The role would include all day to day yard duties, hands on care of competition horses, plus plenty of travel to competitions and training. We have horses eventing and jumping regularly at national and international competitions, up to 4* and 1.30 with aspirations for more.
The right person will have a positive can do attitude and be happy working as part of a team and also individually with more responsibilities.

🌟 A love of the horses, their welfare and care is an absolute must.
I need someone who is comfortable plaiting, clipping, lunging, travelling horses, general vet care, rehab etc to a high standard. Riding is an option but not essential.

🚛 Ideally I would like someone who is happy driving a 3.5t lorry and enjoys taking horses to shows for clients, vets visits, treadmill etc. If you are comfortable around small children 😈 and are happy to be hands on with this occasionally that is a massive bonus.

Essentially I am looking for another right hand to be an integral part of our operation and come and be part of the journey with some lovely horses. Beautiful facilities and a great team of staff and clients mean current and recent employees have been with us for years and years 🥰

Position could be live in or live out, based Littleton Manor Equestrian in Reigate, Surrey. Own horse a possibility. Competitive package including paid holiday, pension, NI etc.

We can’t say enough good things about these camps, they have such a feel good factor and definitely win a prize for the most laughter. There are still some spaces left for the next one in a couple of weeks, if you are even considering it get yourself booked in! You won’t be disappointed 🙌🥰🤩

🎉 Shaz and Shelly’s Gin and Jumping camps are coming to Littleton Manor Equestrian, just in time to celebrate use of their new cross country fences. All levels catered for from poles to 110 fences.

First camp Monday 17th June to afternoon Thursday 20th June, ride 6 times, demos, nutritionist, all food just bring your gin!!! £390

Second camp Friday 12th July pm to pm Sunday 14th July 2024. 4 riding sessions, demo, nutritionist, all food and teas, coffee, soft drinks, just bring your horse and alcohol 🍷 £285

Gin and jumping camps have been really popular for over 18s at boomerang and have moved to Littleton Manor for June and July. Use of full set of show jumps, XC, Flat, Grids and gallops.

We have a few spaces left due to change of area, but normally these are filled very early. Come and join in the fun for all levels with Gin and Jumping

💥 New fences alert ‼️

🤩 You asked so we delivered, The Willis Bros paid us a visit … we now have fences starting from 40cm and more variety all the way up to 70cm, for those of you with little legs, green horses or just wanting to find your feet!

Check out some of our resident ponies and horses and .withbobby having a ball after school a couple of days ago. We are so lucky the ground is still so good even after the relentless rain and even better now the days are getting longer, it’s possible to make the most of the course after school or work 🙌

We quite often get asked what height do we start at and is there plenty for green horses to jump? We offer plenty of 70cm options and run hunter trials at this level. We also offer quite a few smaller fences and very good starter ditch, water and step options. Here is a video of a youngster having his first ever XC school today to give you an idea. Plenty to keep him busy and start his education plus lots to come back to next time and slowly add some progression. Plus how amazing is the going for this time of year, no studs or back shoes and he didn’t slip at all! LMEQ have been running very popular Pony Club and Riding Club Camps for many years.

We think that LMEQ's camp offering is very comprehensive and offers everything you could need for the perfect Residential Equestrian Camp whether that be Riding Club Camp, Pony Club Camp, school or other organisation.

The LMEQ Camp package includes:
⭐️ Thirty temporary stables (more may be available)
⭐️ A mobile catering unit equipped with urn, griddle, fridge, freezer, oven, hob, washing up facilities and service hatch
⭐️ Mess tent to seat thirty plus Club members and their instructors/volunteers/officials etc
⭐️ Showers and toilets
⭐️ Secure tack storage container
⭐️ Use of all weather Dressage and Show Jumping arenas, Cross Country schooling field, Gallops and Grass Arenas
⭐️ Exceptional local off road hacking

Clubs are very welcome to bring their instructors. Kate Tarrant, who events at 4* level, is also based on site and teaches regularly & can be made available for your camps.

LMEQ can also help connect you with nutritionists, sports psychologists, saddle experts, personal trainers, farriers, vets and a host of other interesting and fun people who do talks, presentations and lecture demos, for evening entertainment (some free, some charged for). This has proved very popular in the past.

We don’t offer the catering ourselves but can recommend someone local who has worked with a number of our Pony Clubs and Riding Clubs in the past and has always proved popular.

So how can you make best use of some of these amazing facilities? Did you know that other than just visiting for hire there is also the option to keep your horse here with us on livery?!

We have three separate yards on the farm, all with a slightly different setup and offering but all offering the friendly but professional atmosphere that we pride ourselves on at Littleton.

As well as the bigger facilities of the arenas, gallops and xc we also are exceptionally lucky with all year round free draining turnout and excellent off-road hacking straight on to Reigate Heath.

Next up is our XC course 🤩

Built by Badminton course builders Willis Bros we offer schooling suitable for beginners up to our British Eventing 100 courses plus a few bigger and more technical questions.

We have a great selection of ditches, skinnies, steps, owl holes, water questions and everything that you need to keep educating yourself and your horses.
We are extremely lucky to have amazing free draining Sandy soil which allows us to be open nearly all year round. With the highly unusual amount of rain we have for the first time ever been shut for a while this winter to protect the ground. It does mean that we are now open and the going is great and we are ready to help get you all setup for the incoming eventing season.
Nothing beats getting the grass back under your horses feet and working on those all important real life xc skills 🐎

Through January we want to do some posts about who we are, what we offer and generally what we are all about at Littleton. On such a lousy January weather day as today 🥶 it seems only appropriate to sing from the rooftops about our amazing all weather arenas…

How lucky are we that they survive in the cold, the wet and the heat! A huge credit to , the only problem is it means there are no excuses or fair weather riders around here!

🤩We have a beautiful 20x60m floodlit dressage arena plus a 50x60m jumping arena with a permanent SJ course built with some skinnies and arena Eventing bits alongside for that all important winter prep!

💥 XC SCHOOLING OPEN FROM THIS WEEKEND 🐎

Despite insane amounts of rain the going on the xc is excellent and the equally ridiculous amounts of wind has helped dry things out inbetween. With a much better weather forecast and some colder dry days coming we are delighted to be able to be open and offer riders the all important opportunity to get on grass and get training before the event season gets underway.
The course has been well rested since the end of the season and many of the fences are still flagged and set up from the BE event. Video is from a little walk around this evening.

So hard to choose but these are some of our top memories at Littleton in 2023, it’s been a busy one! What is your favourite memory with us 💙?

Wondering what the photos at the end of 2024 will look like, but we do it know it will be better, bigger and even busier, we very much believe in making it happen and love having so many of you making your own goals happen with us.
