In this first video we have Flossie who is being introduced to KD. Flossie is very polite during the interaction, and she can't quite believe that she is meeting royalty. 🤣 We assessed Flossie as a Hunter.

We had an amazing time with Jody McQuiston from Cumbria Canine Services on Saturday, and are so excited to share some videos from the workshop.

Firstly we have Willow who is 1 year old and super excited to meet KD, but stops dead in his tracks as soon as he realises that she is a Guide. He manages to contain his excitement to allow them to greet each other, but not for long as the video ends with Willow getting some serious zoomies!

Our workshops help you to determine your dog’s Functional Character, giving you a deeper understanding of them, their idiosyncrasies, and their interactions with other dogs.

Previous attendees have told us that they now see their dog in a new light and have a greater understanding of them and why they act the way they do around certain individuals.

Others have told us that “learning about functional characters was a revelation!”, and “it was the missing part of the puzzle”, and also “it helped to explain individual behaviours and how they lived as a group”.

At our most recent workshop, we had the pleasure of assessing Fudge (who is 12 years old) for the second time! She was invited back to a second workshop as we were stuck between her Functional Character being a Lone Individual or a Guide.

In the first video, whilst Fudge is being introduced to Sophie, Heather is explaining the reason that that Fudge had little interest in KD, one of our other Canine Event Team Guides, was probably due to them meeting already at a previous workshop.
