It is with a very heavy heart that I am announcing that I am taking early retirement. As many of you know I have not been in the best of health for quite sometime and have made the decision that I need to rest and recover especially from the flu from beginning of December. My back has been playing up for many years and it’s time to stop lifting heavy boxes etc and getting that sorted.

We will be shutting our doors on 31/1/24 for good and emptying the unit in February. All the stock is available till this date as well as shop fixtures and freezers will be available for sale. Most of the freezers are less than a year old. Again the freezers need to be emptied so if you want carcasses and bones you are welcome to browse. The outstanding orders will be honoured also. I have a lot of dg dog gear and sofa dog stock which I will also be selling on a first come first serve basis and will be reducing prices so tell your friends! I have since been informed that sofa Dog are increasing their prices again.

After decades in the pet industry it is time for a change. I want to concentrate on showing my whippets and catching up with many friends who I haven’t seen for a long time due to work committment. We would like to thank all our customers and their pawsome pooches that have supported us over the years and wish you all well. Please don’t hesitate to contact us should you need any information meanwhile.

Following on from early notification we will be closed today as I can’t get van off the drive and it continues to snow. This is a perennial problem where we live and a nuisance. So sorry folk back in all being well tomorrow. It’s a day for catching up with accounts, not the greatest pastime but a necessary one! Time to drag the boys back inside they love the snow!

It’s somewhat sad when puppies from the best breeders are advertised again because the new owners circumstances change and are unable to take the likes of these two beauties on. Obviously having a huge interest in greyhounds and whippets I do get to know about puppies or dogs which are looking for five⭐️homes. The whippet folk have a good network for keeping everyone up to date about dogs that become available. If you are interested in whippets but don’t know where to start pop in and have a chat. I have put many people in touch who have successfully found their pawsome companions with their full back history! These two beauties have had the best of everything and are not from puppy farms so will make healthy companions.

‼️IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT‼️‼️‼️

We are taking our annual holiday from Saturday 21st October back in on the Monday 30th October. The unit will be open this Saturday as usual but our friend Sid will be here from 12 noon till 3pm. We are closed until Friday 27th when Sid will be open 2pm til 6pm and open Saturday 12noon until 3pm.

Sorry for any inconvenience. We really need this break to recharge the batteries!
