JMP Pond Service renovation of a small old concrete pond that was looking sad needed a new look for the coming years.So out with the old and in with a large 35000ltr EPDM rubber liner and updated pump,filter and lights.New stone work in and out a new retaining wall built. This is stage one two more to go

Hello everyone its Jim from JMP Pond service just a few things i want to mention now the snow is about gone and temperatures are slowly getting better, don’t be tempted to turn everything on until you have checked the following items.
1.check the pump and pipe fittings just incase the pump is blocked or the pipes might be split.
2.drain filter because the water in the filter could be sour due to the fact had no movement for a while.
3.liner or fibre glass pond check,just incase any frost damage
4.uv unit is not frozen or damaged from frost eg.uv bulb has blown
5.leaf or any other vegetation could block pump causing pressure problems.
JMP Pond service can provide you a start up seasonal service which covers all these areas plus more if needed,plus for all those wildlife pond owners its coming to the time to get a good clean out ready for our frog,newts and dragonfly’s to visit.

Hello i would like to take this opportunity to invite new and existing customers to JMP POND SERVICES,which is a local pond business willing to help with all your pond needs.Over 20 years experience I have had the honour to service,build and look after many ponds,water features and lakes in and around North Yorkshire and surrounding areas.
Fixing pipe works, new filter installation,uv replacement,plant management and liner repair or install which covers a wide range of small or large aquatic habitats.
Friendly but professional approach to create that ever changing environment and introducing wildlife back into our gardens , introducing that all import diversity in our local area.
I also would like to include aquaponics which i have mentioned before over the years,but i think now its time to include this amazing ecosystem for all those who want to grow their own vegetables but enjoying aquatic life at the same time.Over the next few weeks i intend to design and manufacture a easy aquaponic system for all to enjoy.

Stand alone waterfeature needed to fit in so a great little stone wall was created by my fellow workmate so it looks great now it’s joining the original wall.

Very large pond needed a bit attention due to the filter not working properly plus to much liner showing around the sides so a new edging system fitted to look like stone.
Fish happy,customer happy we are happy.

Corner of the garden low maintenance pond with gravel planted bed and cobble path.Oase screenmatic filter,uv and pump with led lighting for control unit.
Gentle stream creating water movement and relaxing sound,fish love it.

Wildlife pond created in a corner of the paddock with a natural embankment surrounding one end which is copied in the curves of the pond and cobblestone path.
Plenty of beeches for wildlife to come and go and planted up ready for next spring,just needs a bit more rain to fill it up and it’s good to go.

Time for a new liner,not the easiest of shapes but managed which unfortunately had to have some big folds.Paving re set and width altered to increase water movement.
EPDM liner always does a good job as long as you use there underlay to cover your guarantee.
