Often misunderstood, sometimes maligned - but where would cats be without the unapologetically identifying Cat Mums (and Cat Dads) who treat them like family.

Whether the proud owner of one or multiple! cats bring so much joy, companionship, and comfort into our lives. They have a way of making every day a little brighter with their quirky personalities and cattitude!

Unlike dogs, cats are independent animals who are able to entertain themselves and don’t require walking, lots of grooming or a large space to explore – the boxes and cushions of your home will keep them entertained for hours!

They have tremendous benefits on mental health and physical wellness, especially women. Cats make the purrfect pets, helping you relax and unwind after a long day, having your cat curl up on your lap purring and sharing some head butts, results in your body releasing oxytocin and dopamine (the happy hormone) which make you feel less stressed and increase the feeling of wellbeing.

*Did you know? a cat’s purr can help calm your nervous system and lower blood pressure.

Cats also reduce the feeling of loneliness as they offer companionship to their owners and give them a purpose – they definitely won’t fill their food bowls and clean their litters by themselves!
