VIZSLA DRYING COATS! I found a bolt of beautiful navy towelling fabric that I’d forgotten about and so the Vizsla shaped drying coat was borne! There will only be a handful of these available TOMORROW at 7pm so if you want one ready for drying off after swimming or beach play or a rainy walk, work out the size you need (swipe to see the measurement guide) and set your reminder. These are fab but with so few available you’ll need to be quick!

MICRO-FAFFING is this a word? It should be. It describes the long and constantly changing thought process that goes into everything that is designed in the Dashwood workshop. It’s about getting if not utter perfection, then as close as I can. It’s about getting the colours just right, the feel of quality elements and all the little details included. I want Dashwood kit to be really really gorgeous. And really really practical. Today’s microfaffing has been to narrow down 20 webbing samples to these ones and now I need@to know which you like best! The new olive green raincoats will be customisable so you choose detail that’s olive green to match, or dark orange for a subtle pop of colour, or mocha for an earthy tone or do you fancy some hi viz webbing do you can see your dog in the distance? PACKABLE RAINCOAT - our new drop is coming soon! Our new vizsla-specific raincoat is receiving rave reviews from those lucky enough to get one on the first drop so here we are making more for you. These are hand crafted from olive green waterproof fabric (the same as we use on the backs of our winter coats) lined with black sports mesh. This coat is a wonderful combination of looking incredible, fitting vizslas (and their similar shaped friends) like a glove , feeling substantial, yet swipe to see how tiny they pack down. And….. You’ll be able to choose your favourite colour webbing to get that personalised Dashwood style. This packed coat has khaki webbing which gives a gorgeous natural contrast to the olive but there’s also olive, orange and pink too. I hope you love these as much as I do. www.dashwooddog.com

How perfect is our tan collar on ? What a gorgeous little pup to have on our grid 🤎. This collar is the most beautiful warm brown reminiscent of traditional leather (but of course waterproof Biothane is way better!) here with olive and khaki keepers making this the perfect understated piece. As all Dashwood collars are made bespoke you can be as bright or as calm as you like in your colour combinations to have exactly what you want! Your wish is my command! UPDATE: a little raincoat update for you all - we are on track for the anticipated dispatch time as posted on the listing - w/c 16 June so hooray for that! The other bit of exciting news is that these will be the very first pieces to leave the workshop with our new woven labels! We know so many of you were disappointed to miss out on this first drop which is using fabric we already had in the workshop. We are currently sourcing some more fabric so we can do a second drop in the not too distant future. If you’d like us to message you when this is nearing please comment below and I’ll refer back to this post when we know when it’ll be. Again - thank you for your support in this. Who knew a vizsla raincoat was so needed? Oh yes - we all did because it’s a well known fact that vizslas melt in the rain 🧡

AND BREATHE…. After the most incredible response to the raincoat drop that meant we sold out in an hour, these beautiful photos of .doxxie are a reminder to us all once in a while to stop, take a breath, feel the sun and gather ourselves. Life is busy so we’d like to make you all a cuppa and give you 5 minutes to yourself. And be more Ivy - grab your Dashwood blanket and go rest in the sun if you can. I had to remove the listing as the website didn’t quite behave as anticipated but I can’t thank you all enough for such a positive response. FINAL COLOUR REVEAL! This is the final colour on our limited run of vizsla raincoats - Ruby is showing you the gorgeousness of the wine colour way. This warm and soft shade is given the fabulous Dashwood twist with hi viz orange adjustment points at chest, neck and tail. We have VERY limited stock of this particular fabric so you’ll have to act fast if this has your name all over it! This is cut specifically for dogs with deep chests, long necks and lean bodies and will be available in 3 sizes to fit your ginger friend (and of course their similar shapes buddies) like a fabulous Dashwood glove. IT’S RAINCOAT WEATHER! Oh don’t you love this country? Just when you were getting used to the sunshine the clouds head over and it rains again! The unpredictable British weather inspired our new packable vizsla raincoat and these are the photos from making the last prototype - the biggest size which is on its way to our fab rep for testing. Right now we are planning 3 sizes to cover our ginger friends - a M, M/L and L. I’ve made hundreds of winter coats for vizslas so am confident that these will work really well and be oh so much better than anything else out there for our stunning (yet kinda funky shaped) dogs. Swipe to see the sports mesh lining and fab hi viz (get it?) trim. Coming as soon as we can possibly do - just waiting to confirm the final decisions. But I’m so delighted you’re as excited about these as I am. Coming soon to Dashwood 🧡
