Such a sweet loving boy Rocco is, this visit was all about working with him on getting him to go in and out of the bath on his own and some desensitizing with the dryer, he smashed it to say the least 😍

Sleepy Suzie, was all excitable to beging with and as soon as she was on the table she laid down for a nap, she knew it was going to take a while 😂 and certainly made my life easier

Milo showed younger Pip what grooming is all about and then Pip followed suot and did amazing ! (As long as she got some snuggles too) And Heidi tagged along with them, what a sweet girl she is, this visit for her will also make her more confident when it's her turn ❣️

Eeek this little pup did super his first ever visit to the groomers and he was super comfortable with the whole groom .. his owner had been doing some desensitizing at home with certain aspects, and it certainly shows, get them us we to things like dryers, baths and paws being touched when their young and then their first visit to a groomers will just be a relaxing day out for them

So I realised I had mentioned freedom drying before and decided to show you what I meant. This is Foxy, he is a fidget. This method I do with all nervous dogs and fidgets. By doing this method I've seen so many dogs improve with the dryers because their not being forced. I always double check their ok with this dryer first otherwise I will use a stand dryer instead as it doesn't move. I always like to find a dogs sweet spot so if ever they get nervous of something we can stop what we're doing for a quick stroke...Charlies whole tummy was the sweet spot, not that he was at all nervous I was just trying to tease the shedding out 😂

Zilla was a lively one after her bath, she loved being able to look out all the windows, the bath however she did not love. After being worried about the dryer last time we decided to go with the quieter hand held and on the floor so we didn't get any bad association just In case but look at her go all happy and crazy. Finding what's right for each dog is what is key!
