NEW HOME NEEDED
We are looking for a new home for one of our regular guests - IRIS - whose owner, due to a change in personal circumstances, needs her rehomed.

As you can see from the pictures, Iris is a beautiful half-pedigree Ragdoll who will be two years old in April.

Iris is neutered and fully vaccinated- in good health - and is a people lover so needs a new home where she has human company for most of the day and a warm lap to sit on!

What better for the start of 2024 than 7 kittens! We have been looking after these cuties for Cats Protection since mid-December - wild kittens taken from a local farm to ensure they were warm and fed. They will soon be off to their Foster home in the hope they can be socialised and eventually re-homed ❤️

Apologies incorrect dates on our last post for Summer 2024 closing….. the cattery will be closed from 1pm on Friday 23rd August reopening for business and kitty guests on Monday 2nd September ……

Christmas/New Year bookings: please note that the last day for drop offs will be 22nd December with first day for collections on 27th December so if you would like to book your kitty in over the Christmas period, they will need to be in by 22nd and collected on or after 27th.

Christmas Day will be charged as a double charge as will New Years Day so that the team who will be working on those days can benefit from a bonus…..

New Year’s day we will be closed for drop offs and collections.

In order to maintain our prices and not pass on all the rising costs to our customers, please note that during 2024 we will be closed to customers for drop offs /collections on Bank Holidays- dates are:

1st Jan
29th March
1st April
6th and 27th May
26th August

To ensure that the Team all get a full week holiday during the summer we will be CLOSED to all our kitty customers from Sunday 17th-25th August.

This handsome boy has been nervous during his first stay. So we gave him a hide-hood to go into, to make him feel secure and spend time sat on the floor of his indoor chalet showing him that there is nothing to fear. And gradually, with the help of treats, he’s more comfortable….now lies on his back for a belly rub! That’s why we do this job - for these type of rewards !

For those of you who have visited us recently, you will know that the refurbishment is progressing well. You will see that we now have the chalets/runs fully enclosed from the weather - so cooler in summer and warmer in winter. Each chalet has also been fully insulated.

For those chalets we have refurbished so far, we have added extra shelving inside and in the external runs along with lino on the floors of the runs instead of cold concrete; carpet for comfort on the shelves with hammocks and play tunnels!

We are still yet to paint the external chalet doors and replant the garden ….. along with continuing the upgrades to all the remaining chalets/runs …. but we will get there and all of this work should enhance your cats experience during their stay 🐈‍⬛
