This is Jessy 🐾

Jessy likes to look like butter wouldn't melt to persuade her owners to give her lots of Gravy bones during her visits with us.

She is being treated for Spondylosis and since starting aquatic treadmill sessions her hindlimb muscle mass has increased.

Well done Jessy ⭐️

⭐️ We love a Success Story ⭐️

Toni is a rescue from Spain who is being cared for by The Pointer Rescue Service. She arrived in November 2024 unable to stand for long periods of time and struggled to walk.

Today she had her final physiotherapy session and came (almost) running through the door to see us!

Her carer shall continue working on strengthening exercises with her before she hopefully finds her forever home! ♥️

Well done Toni!

The 4 Paws ladies would like to wish our clients past and present a Merry Christmas! 🎄 🤶🏼

Thank you for all your continued support over the past year!

We have been truly spoilt with lots of lovely biscuits, chocolates and other thoughtful gifts which mean so much to us! 🎁

We would also like to take this moment to reflect and remember the dogs we have treated over the year that have sadly passed. We think of both dog and owners often and remember fondly their treatments with us. 🌈

We are now closed for a few days to enjoy the festivities and re-open Friday 27th December. ✨

Scally-Wag was very happy to swap one of her walks yesterday for her hydrotherapy session so that she could avoid Storm Bert. 💨🌧️

We hope everyone is staying safe in this weather. If you can’t do your usual walks with your dog, there’s lots of mental stimulation games you can play inside such as hiding treats or toys for them to find.

Do you have any games you like to play with your dog at home? If so please feel free to share them in the comments for others to try! ☺️⬇️

🐻 Big cuddly Koda can been seen here practicing one of the exercises during his physiotherapy session.

Today was his first session and we worked on loosening off some tightness in his glutes, followed by carrying out an exercise plan that his owner can continue with at home to help strengthen his hindlimbs.

We think he thoroughly enjoyed learning some ‘new tricks’!

Well done Koda! ⭐️

The lovely Millie from Paws & Progress came in for her second swim today. She’s coming for a bit of fitness and a fun way to exercise. She’s been doing well swimming round following treats!

She isn’t quite tall enough to stand comfortably on the resting shelf, so we have to have cuddles during her rests, which we don’t think Millie or Liz mind at all 🩷

Barney has been coming to see us since March, shortly after his new pawrents adopted him from Romania, where he had surgery to remove his hip joint before he came over to the UK. He’s really landed on his feet in his new family and they are making sure that he is strong and fit following his surgery.

He started in the treadmill and then moved into the pool, but is now going to alternate between the 2 to make sure he’s using his legs and getting the maximum benefit from his treatment. He’s been retrieving the doughnut toy in the pool, but unfortunately it’s rubber and not actually an edible doughnut, so he was please to remember there was cheese on offer when he’s in the treadmill!

He couldn’t resist having a go at Tongues Out Tuesday, which may have had something to do with licking the cheese!
