Yes, it's that time again. Please be on the look out for ticks. With the warm and wet conditions over the last week or so, ticks are out and about.
If we find and remove any from your dog, we will let you know and inform you of any bites you need to keep an eye on.

Groomer Tip: keeping those pesky knots and matts out of your curly or dense coat breeds. We recommend using the Line Brushing technique. Using a paddle brush shown here, with one hand hold your dogs hair so you can see a Line of skin (second photo) and using your brush, gently brush from the Line out until knot free. Now move to the next section until your whole dog has been brushed out. This is the only way to ensure you are getting through all layers of your dogs hair. If done regularly, you will have a happy pooch and a happy groomer 😊 (plus their coat will be so soft)

A nice chilled out day today at Divine Doggies - Dog Grooming Roxy is always a pleasure to groom. I like to take my time with the older pooches to ensure they are pain free and as stress free as possible. Roxy is a delight. Teddy did brilliantly for his first time with me. New dogs to the salon are always provided with a bit of extra time as everything is new for them. Ted can definitely come again. Mia is a regular and is a pleasure to groom. She likes to snuggle in every chance she gets, and how can I say no to that face.
