It’s that time of year again… so I’m offering a free flea bath to all clients with every de-shed and clip OR just a flea bath for £10 per dog

A year ago, I couldn’t even get near Dougal with a pair of clippers after he was traumatised at a previous groomers on his first ever groom, this week Dougal has accepted the clippers everywhere! We’ve worked so hard over the past year, between his owner and family, Dougal and me, we have finally made his grooming experience something he can enjoy! ❤️ so proud of him ❤️

Coba has made me and his mum so proud today, he had some trauma a while back and was reluctant to let me anywhere near his feet or back end…. Today, he has managed to have and entire body clip, his feet tidied and a lovely bath (even if he did try to eat the shower head!) gold star for you Coba! Enjoy our new scent ‘Rhubarb and Custard’ ❤️🐶

Charlie came in yesterday for a tidy up and to help remove/shed some last bits of puppy fur, he was extremely nervous about everything so we took it nice and easy and encouraged him with treats, although apparently the clippers will get eaten before they eat him! 😂❤️

Alfie and Harley kept me company in the salon today, Harley is so full of energy and Alfie is so sweet and loving, we had great fun, especially playing together with treats after their groom while waiting for their Dad, they’re both ready to go play in the fields now and have some more fun ❤️🐶

Beautiful Tiffany needed a new spring cut, she was rather overgrown on her face and her hair was starting to cover her eyes, she’s now able to see and feeling much cooler for the warm weather 🐶

Not seen the lovely Teddie-bear for a while and he was definitely in need of a trim, I’ve taken him nice and short so he’s nice and easy to care for, he was slightly nervous of his head being clipped so we snipped away with the scissors instead. He’s now so much cooler and comfortable ❤️ and smells of our amazing ‘puppy powder’ 🥰🐶

Here we have the gorgeous Todd, Todd has been very busy playing in the mud at home and mum is fed up of mud all over the house! Now he’s so much easier to keep clean and lug free ❤️🐶

My best mate Bailey was back today for his tidy up, very proud of him today, he hardly growled at all!!! ⭐️😂 nice and quick and leaving smelling of bubblegum ❤️🫧 ❤️

Oli is just 5 months old, so too young for a trim yet, but he came in today for his first salon experience, he had a bath and a play with the dryer and I removed a few little matts he had building up, I also provided mum with some new brushes and showed her how to properly care for his coat, making sure to get close enough to the skin and avoid skin matts, he was an absolute superstar! Very proud!!!

How gorgeous is Tilly!!! So much hair at just 7 months old! She was in desperate need of some matt removal under her legs, chin and face, her owner had done a fantastic job keeping her long hair well brushed but it was the more fiddly areas that Tilly wasn’t happy with her brushing, between me and her we worked together to remove the small matts and gave her an easier coat for mum to stay on top of, once her hair starts to grow back we can look at giving her a more shaped cut, but honestly… I think so looks adorable and I don’t think I’ve ever cut so much hair off such a small dog!!! 😂 she was so well behaved and took it all in her stride. 10/10 Tilly! ⭐️

Chael was back for his spring clean, he’d been playing with some cow manure so had a ‘lovely’ scent!! He left smelling a lot better with our coconut and honey’ scent and feeling a lot lighter with his new trim, he didn’t make it an easy job as he’s 100mph even when stood still! 😂🐶❤️

The lovely little Rolo came for his first clip yesterday, he’s a dachshund x cocker and is 7 months old, he’s had a leg tidy and we removed the excessive amount of fluff he had, he left with his new trim and our bubblegum scent ❤️🐶

I’ve been a bit rubbish with my social media lately since coming back to work! So here’s a few of the dogs I’ve had in this week ❤️
The lovely Willow in for her usual manicure, blow dry and up do 🩷
Harry was in for a summer glam up, ready for his holiday and I’m so proud of him for getting much more comfortable with his legs being done in the hammock 🩵
And my new client Trixie came in for a nail trim and bath, she really hates her nails being done and can be aggressive as she’s so nervous, we managed 2 feet and decided to stop as she wasn’t happy, I’ve got a larger hammock on order and we will see how she copes next week for her free return visit, I’ll keep you all posted 🩷
