It’s a long one, but worth the read 🤩
A lovely customer left us this glowing review about her Equiseat Aid. If you’ve been unsure about whether to get one, here is your answer! 👇🏻
“Although I'm an experienced rider, with good overall balance and position, I felt there were a few little signs that told me I was very slightly over to the right. On the odd occasion I lost a stirrup, it was always the left. The grease marks on back of my boots, was heavier on the right boot. I often found my left heel riding up over jumps.
I invested in the Equiseat Aid and it has been the best thing to correct these issues. Originally, I thought my right leg was the stronger leg (and therefore the leg to wear the aid on) but Equiseat explained that i was likely gripping stronger with my left inner thigh/knee, causing my weight to shift over to the right and causing a loss of power in my left lower leg.
Despite how the Aid looks, I found the Equiseat Aid to be comfortable to wear (flat, hacking & jumping) and the difference to my left leg position, was noticeable from day 1. I wore it everytime I rode for 6 weeks and now just wear it once a week.
Since using the Aid, I now feel both seat bones are connected evenly, my weight naturally drops into my left heel when jumping.
My left lower leg is much more effective, with even grease marks on the back of my boots and no more losing the odd left stirrup.
I was a little sceptical at first but can honestly say the Equiseat has been an incredible aid to correct my slight imbalance and my pony is working beautifully. I would highly recommend the Equiseat Aid.”
