Training dogs really does take you to the best places in the most fabulous company.
A thoroughly enjoyable day, the best ground, perfect weather (despite the slightly dubious forecast!) and a wonderful group of handlers and their dogs, who all benefitted and enjoyed the training. (We won’t mention the stinky rabbit…😬!)

Fortunate to spend days that just don’t feel like work. 🥰🐾

We were delighted to be asked to provide a Gundog Demonstration, for the Friends of Coverham Church at their Fete.
A truly enjoyable day out, and an opportunity to provide an educational and entertaining insight into the role of the working dogs.
Bob Fred Indie and Goose did a wonderful job, and was a perfect warm up before the New Forest And Hampshire County Show at rhe end of July.
Bob has a few more weeks to perfect his crowd surfing skills!

Bob, Goose and Fred visited Claro Hill Vets, With Bob making sure their vaccinations were up to date.

Goose was also there to have his X-rays for his hip and elbow scoring to be submitted to the BVA.

5 months have passed since losing Bear, but there are memories of him everywhere. 💔

Don’t forget to check your vaccinations are in date.

Always nice to see things coming together, and to get out in the sunshine with my own dogs. Always grateful for opportunities to train on fabulous ground due to good friends.

We are BACK! 🥳

For everyone who’s been asking and those that missed us last year, 😬 delighted to say the Brockhills dogs will be back in the Countryside Arena at this years New Forest and Hampshire County Show 2026, providing the Gundog Demonstrations.

Sadly the star of the show will be missing, but the rest of the team are hoping to do a fabulous job in Bears memory.

Bob has already been practicing. 🤪🤦🏼‍♀️

Looking forward to seeing friends, family, familiar faces and new ones. So get your tickets and come and see us at the show!

Having popped in to Claro Hill Vets a couple of weeks ago with Fred who’s had a bit of an unsettled digestive system, and a check over of his ears whilst he was there, it was another visit with Bob today, who’s been bothering one of his ears.
Despite cleaning his ears, he’s still been indicating some annoyance by scratching and occasional head shaking.
A swab checked under the microscope showed yeast and bacteria.
The benefit of this means you know exactly what your dealing with so the right course of treatment can be prescribed.
So a good clean later and a single Neptra treatment which means no further drops or cleaning for the next month, and Bob is happily now snoozing by the fire and not scratching his ear!
Thank you to Heather for making him comfortable again.

Personally I always prefer to err on the side of caution and check out the small things, before they become big things!
