Construction of Waterloo House, the technologically-advanced new animal feed mill of I’Anson Bros Ltd, and the most significant development in the UK feed industry this century, has been completed marking the successful conclusion of a project a decade in the planning and two years in construction.

The ground-breaking development is the largest-ever investment by the business, with a phased build-up of operational capabilities now underway, ahead of I’Anson’s 125-year anniversary in 2025.

JOB OPPORTUNITY: ASSISTANT (TRAINEE) NUTRITIONIST / FORMULATOR

Due to our continued growth, we are now looking for an Assistant (Trainee) Nutritionist / Formulator to support our company’s sales and technical teams. The role will be primarily based at our Headquarters in Masham, North Yorkshire, however we are open to hybrid and remote working.

The role will involve managing our range of feed formulations across both production facilities, providing technical support to our sales team and customers, responding to customer enquiries and new product development.

We would be looking for excellent computer skills with the ability to work to a high degree of accuracy with attention to detail. Previous formulating experience, or practical animal and livestock experience would be desirable but not essential. We are willing to support further education and training where required. We would offer a competitive salary based on experience and an excellent benefit package.

Due to our continued growth we are now looking for a transport, raw material and production planner to work closely alongside our current heads of department. This is a full-time on-site role (based at Masham) and requires some weekend and on-call work. The planner will join a fast paced environment, responsible for assisting in the creation and managing of production schedules, transport logistics and coordinating raw material supplies to ensure efficient manufacturing processes. Experience is preferred, but not essential.

Today we celebrate another colleague’s 25 year anniversary.
Brian Read joined us in October 1999 and has worked his way through the business.
Brian runs the weighbridge checking in and out our customers and suppliers, he is our first line Quality Control check on all ingredients coming in to make our feeds, a job not to be underestimated and he handles it efficiently and with a friendly greeting! Many thanks Brian and well done !

Today we celebrate another colleague’s 25 year anniversary.
Ray Sutton joined us in September 1999 and has worked his way through the business, specialising in the micronizing department in particular.
Ray has run the production plant for many years before moving to production supervisor. Where he now oversees all aspects of planning the production of micronized products for despatch to customers all over the UK, Europe and 46 countries worldwide. Many thanks and well done Ray!
